  • I first heard this great man audio cassette in Warri, Nigeria, I Prayed all thru the night asking God for the double share of his Anointing..You are a Blessing to this generation..America is Bless to have you and the whole is glad to have you Sir Phil Driscoll..

  • Man, absolutely amazing! I remember watching this here in Australia, and just blessing God for America. Especially poignant only two months after 9/11, but what an anointed way to testify to the world that God had not left America!

  • Amazing artist!

  • I watched this live and it has been with me ever since so glad it is online. Great JOb Phil.

  • I'm so glad this video is online!! I'm there in the background... I think singing on the emmy's was the coolest experience of my life!

  • @danz326 Me too! I must agree that singing at the Emmy's still rates as the coolest experience of my life as well.

  • Phil, this was the right way to open the show that year so soon after 9/11. I saw you live on TV, my heart soared as you played! I know how hard it is to play under so much heat from those lights & the humid atmospheric ambience that a large room full of people creates. Awesome, awesome job! I fell in love with your music when I first heard it back in the '80s and I still love it today. Your heart & your love for our God shines when you sing & play. Way to go!

  • Phil, I love you brother. I watch this and wonder how a country can do to you what it did when you love it so much. But you kept your faith and we all can see Christ in you. God bless you.

  • brilliant! a must see!

  • Thank you Phil !! Our Nation was terribly wounded at this time right after 9/11. I truly believe our healing process began right here. Blessings on you and your sweet family

  • Whatsoever you do ....do with thy might for there is no talent in the grave.....If this man does not play the trumpet with all of his might I don't know who does. Great job Phil. Thanks so much for posting.
