Silly question: IF I purchase the analogue cards or the adat cards can they be used as tape returns? Is this set up through a menu? how good are the pre amps? I am trying to decide between purchasing this or a Toft ATB 24. I have an alesis HD 24 w/fireport and Apple LOgic, with a mac book pro... any suggestions...?

Hey I just got one, and I love it, but I have a question...
I have it working 90% with Logic and Pro Tools but just cant seem to get Timecode going on the meter bridge...
I had it working, but it only registered when it was playing, not when it was off, or rewinding/fastfwd... when i tried to see if I coudl fix that... I lost the timecode display alltogether.. any ideas as to how i can get it back???
@TRES70 You don't "NEED" a digital hardware mixer. This one is not only a mixing console. It has 24 mic ins.even if you don't have a computer(in live applications) this one will get your whole recording/mixing session inside and make a complete track from scratch. You have frequently used FX and such. You can use outboard ones.In that case it acts as an interface. At last you can have an I/O card transfer your mix in separate tracks to your DAW.Then it acts as a controller. Its a great Allrounder.

Hey I was wonder if you use this mixer with Pro Tools or Logic do you need any out gears to get top industry standard mixes?

Inputs.....more than one nerd playing at a time....
then again, I suppose you have a regular mixer...
but still, need the D/A converters
