  • i have a macbook pro will these just plug straight in?

  • @NewKiidDubstep they are amplified speakers so no need for an amp

  • Also, what cables and UBB audio card do I need to get if a want and good audio quality without spending to much (not more than 275 $ for the soundc card ) ?

  • @mcwarior I would recommend an external audio interface like the M-audio fast track pro its good value.

  • I'm buying some KRK RP6G2 in 2 days but I'm still wondering if they're comming with some power cables and other ones to connect them or do I have to buy them separatly ?

  • @mcwarior they come with power cables but no audio cables.

  • What cables do i need to connect my Pioneer DDJ-T1 To The KRK RP6 G2?

    PLEASE HELP!

  • @TheNG1997 I don't know what sockets the Pioneer has but the speakers have 1/4 jack and phono sockets.

  • Longest unboxing ever. Jesus.

  • Best bass response, between the 5,6, and 8 inch monitors. check 'em out.

  • I came this close to getting the rokits rp6g2's, but then I A/B'd them with the rp8s and the rp8's sounded richer and fuller (if a bit too boomy). I then a/b'd the rp8s with the yamaha hs80s and the yamaha's won out on clarity. Yes they are a bit bright, but I got used to them very quickly and can listen to them without ear fatigue. I also think the soundstage is deeper on the yammies and there is more detail too. Still, the KRK rp6g2's are great monitors and are great value for money. Good luck

  • so i only have enough to buy one speaker, not a pair. i'm sure this question sounds stupid, but will i be alright with just one or is it only worth getting the pair?

  • @hkim927 I guess if you only want to make music that is mono then that is fine, one monitor is better than nothing!

  • @hkim927

Use some good DJ or studio grade headset instead, if you only have money for one speaker, then save up and buy two when you can afford them.

  • lol "there all yellow.... and errr black...."

  • I've always liked the sound of KRKs. Excellent monitors!

  • somebody know what i need??

ik got krk rokit rp8 g2 speakers and i want to connect it to the comuter what cable i need to do this, mine was stolen but i dont know what cable i need i only got 1 cable that goes to the power supply but i need one more thing can sombody tell me what??

  • @AiBoyJeLeeft The things you need are, an audio interface, and an XLR, OR TRS, OR RCA cable

  • holy shit they are big

  • I really like the look of the first generation more than G2, especielly Special Edition white RP6, much nicer clean design. Do anybody know if the technical speccs are the same?

  • hmm... i had a NY cap, almost bought that tshirt, have the same watch and am looking to buy these speakers... your obviously a man of good taste lol

  • Just got these from zZounds. Had them price match the grew 6's out there and got them for $145 a piece...that and the payment plan of 4 payments is great for a poor person like me.

  • haha. after all that "they are all nice and yellow and blackkk" but great vid. hopefully il be getting some RP8s. :D

  • these speakers are a joke. You want real studio monitors ? buy a pair of Adam A7X.

  • @meddy89 Your a joke, why don't you make your own unboxing or review video if you love the Adam's so much. I will stick with my KRK's thanks, they are fine for me.

  • @ScepticalStoat Man what a troll!

  • @meddy89

Yeah, they are almost in the same price range... Or wait, what?

  • @ScepticalStoat Well said...

  • @meddy89 You Sir, are a sick fuck! It is obvious that the Adam A7X are better, but at least, you must be able to afford them. And even if some guys had the money to, they would buy something else with it. Others spend all the money on carparts. You don't have to judge that. But you can order the A7X and send it as a present to ScepticalStoat, i'm quiet shure he would appreciate it!

So in the wise words of Walter Sobchak: Mark it zero!!

  • @meddy89 um dude your a fag. its not like hes posting an unboxing of sony hifi speakers. theres plenty of producers that do very well with the krk rp's. there really all anyone needs. and unless you have the skills to back up the price of your A7's i suggest u shut the fuckk up

  • @sml2238 Well spoken.

  • @sml2238 totally agree !

  • @meddy89

The KRK's are great sounding for the price, as far as the the Adam A7K, was going to buy a set intill I heard the Yamaha hs80m and the ADAM A7K together using the same interface on flat and the Yamaha's sounded much better, despite the Adams having the ribbon tweeter's. The only thing the Adam's sounded better in was the high's, but also sound to harsh on certain tracks, the Yamaha had a edge in mids and lows by far, even the other customers agreed and was the ones I bought home.

  • @meddy89 a joke? hahaha

  • @meddy89 If you're going to be a complete cunt at least snobbishly recommend him monitors in a similar price bracket.

  • @meddy89 Adam A7X are joke. Why don't you buy a pair of genelec 8260 DSP?

  • @meddy89 asshole who cares what do you suggest for him if he allready chosen those monitors than why da fuck you still post your shit about those damn ADAM speakers... They're not in this price range at all and that's totally different level! Damn...

  • Read me a phonebook, i just love to listen to you.... ;o) Great monitors anyway!

  • @DrBTrueger Haha, you are pretty funny for a German!

  • Haha football factory...

    Do ya know stanleyy? lol

Nice vid man will be getting these next week! :)

  • 329?! Pounds? I hope that is per set? Here I can get 2 RP6 G2's for 370.. EUROS! That's 321,05 pounds...

  • @Inmateshardstyle yes price per pair, well done on your purchase!

  • Hey there! I love my KRKs! I don't know if this would interest you but we are currently doing a competition based on creating a short video review of a music product with the chance of winning up to £150. If you're interested then send me a message and I will link you the details. Or join us on facebook (/absolutemusicuk) and get the link off there! Keep up the good work! Say hi to Stanley for me! ha!

  • i'll buy krk rp8 g2 next week :)

  • You've obviously had these for a while now. Are you still happy with them or have you "out grown" them and want to replace them yet?

  • @pyungiedude I am very happy with them and I hope to enjoy many years monitoring and listening with them. They are good enough for a semi professional or bedroom producer like me :) If you want the extra kick you can go for the RP8's or get a sub to go with them but for me there is no need as these do the job nicely.

  • @ScepticalStoat these are 4 pro uses really m8 not bedroom they really are top studio speakers dont feel u have had semi pro they are pro the rokit 5 are semi pro 6 and 8s are pure professional u wont beat those unless you go over 1k wich is pointless good choice m8

  • @pyungiedude Monitor speakers can, depending on your room and if you change it often, last for many years. I have heard of people using speakers from '89... Monitor speakers don't get old quickly!

  • they're all yellow and... black, lmao

  • @davetherave303 Glad you can have a laugh cos I did this whole thing for a laugh anyway, thanks for your feedback :)

  • @ScepticalStoat hehe :o) nice you got some stands and wire thrown in, i found a pair on ebay that are 40quid cheaper so that will aid towards the stands and mopads

  • @davetherave303 yeah the stands arrived, they are samson and are just the job, will do another vid showing stands soon! :)

  • Damm Nice These Are The Ones Im Going To Get!!

  • hi,

    i need some help,

i love music, and i have high quality tracks,

i want to buy a pair of speaker reasonable price £200,

i want the speakers to be really loud crystal clear and i want great bass as well

please could someone explain what ones are good and what i need to work them...

    thanks in advance

  • What audio interface did you use? I have Lexicon Lambda so is it possible to connect it with XLR cable instead of 1/4 TRS because isn't that XLR is for mic?

  • @SymphonyOfDestruct99 I use an M-AUDIO Fast Track Pro, yes your right the XLR sockets on the interface are inputs. It doesn't matter if you use the XLR or TRS output on the speaker. You can get leads that have an XLR plug on one end and a TRS or phono on the other so its up to you. Hope this helps.

  • @ScepticalStoat U got M-Audio fast track pro...I am looking to buy one, do u recommend it ? What positive and negative features has it got ? thx

  • @madedd02 It is all round a great piece of kit and does everything you could want in an interface for something of this budget. If you go for more expensive units then you get better sound quality so like always you get what you pay for but for most people (me included) the sound quality on this is excellent.

  • @Carlos11220 Why does this suck? They are quality speakers, you get what you pay for...

  • How can I connect them to my computer? Please tell it in the noob way, im new with Monitors and im gonna buy these I think :)

  • @gitorla13 I would firstly recommend that you should either get a nice sound card or an external interface, i have the The M-audio Fast Track Pro. I use 1/4 jack leads but you can use the 3 pin xlr leads instead as it has both types of socket. If you dont have a decent sound card or interface then you can use the head phone socket. for this you will need a mini stereo jack plug on one end of the lead and twin phono plugs on the other. Avoid the hassle and get an interface, it sounds much better!

  • it sucks that they don't come in a pare

  • hi .. i wannt buy this monitors but how can I connect them to the pc?

do I need a mixer? I have a Edirol UA-X25 soundcard... hope you can help me...

    thanks..

  • @tysker2503 you can connect strait to you sound card either with 1/4 inch jack plug leads or phono leads hope this helps

  • @ScepticalStoat thank you very much

  • @ScepticalStoat

those speakers good to hook up to a dj set? I have a receiver is that still needed

  • @Devestato72 You can go from a mixer or pre amp to the speakers using any of the 3 connections.

  • a todo loco chavo!!!!!!!!

  • a todo loco morro!!!!!
