Q6600 Overclocked @4GHz i Aircooling whit OCZ Vendetta 2

hey i have just installed this cooler now and just used the push pins and rubbish thermal paste temporarily, is it worth taking my mobo out and putting the retention bracket on becuase my dad doesnt want me to do it because he thinks i will break my pc, would it be worth it, does it improve the performance on it?

It just holds the cooler on better. Without it you risk breaking your motherboard.

idle temps are nothimg i have @ burn 35°C

i use a q6600@3,86GHz an i have idle 23°C because my room has 21°C
