please who ever got this album contact me, i am begging, met this dude when i was in haiti once at "star mart" for people who know what im talking about. THE BEST EVER OF THE NEW GENERATION BANDS...SO many memories, my childhood, when haiti faisait bon a vivre
If rapper T.I could sing , he'd sound just like the singer .... lollllzzz ! And the female singer would be miss Keri Baby _ Weird Coincidence ! ((( Hybrid Voice )))
If rapper T.I could sing , he'd sound just like the singer .... lollllzzz ! And the female singer would be miss Keri Baby _ Weird Coincidence ! ((( Hybryd Voice )))
This song brings back so many wonderful memories of my childhood in Haiti. I remember the Kermess at Charite De St Louis (Bourdon) and St. Rose de Lima (Lalue). Oh mon dieu, la vie etait belle. Thank you for the post. I miss Skandal.
I will be posting more Skandal music soon like "Lakou Lakay" which is so relevant for Haitians today and "Gitano". My brother (John Doane) and the group Skandal had a vision to expand Haitian music from the typical compa, but still kept to the grass roots of Haitian music, bon ti tambou. Thank you Manue021 for posting this song!!!. RIP John Doane and love and peace to P. Handal and P. Brun.
Haitians used to sing and dance, I wonder why they don't anymore. We have lost ourselves in this world.Too much influence of other cultures on ours make us forget who we truly are...That's sad...
@mihiva Haitians still luv their compa and get down when I go to a bal in Haiti, but know what you mean. I went to Haiti this year in June and there's not much to sing and dance about. I guess my mentality is old school cause I don't like the Haitian rapping at all!!! Long live compa
@LakouLakay7 Thank you! There's finally someone who understand me.Haitiens pedu identite antan ke pep.Sa rap ap fe pou nou? Lap retiren nan mize? Ala traka papa!!!
i can say, this song is about me, my music, and how i never gave up on it or on my faith in the Lord. no matter what, i stayed firm in Jesus, and am still staying firm. no money but i got music, and God willing one day i will make it!!
Rest in Peace John Doane, we will always love you and by God's grace will see you again. You will never be forgotten June 25th, 2005 RIP, Jennifer Doane
