never do a running jump when doing this boss, this guy got lucky it didn't jump up after him. once you climb up you can just drop back off and attack.

@G4MERtv hahaha. got lucky? the boss was designed to be defeated this way, i did it in the video response again with no gear and just just an axe at level 7, i watched my friend do it the same way, and look at the thumbs up to thumbs down, if this were a fluke there would be a lot of angry comments.

@ReviewZoneHD i think you took it the wrong way, i meant as in it's not exactly wise to back up that far then go for it, it can and probably will always jump up after you if you take too long. just saying you could just climb up and then jump walk straight up to do it quicker and reduce risk of getting your shit slapped. not everyone will know what to do when it comes to it.

@iPodAwesum Meh to be fair at around the second boss, I started to really doubt the control scheme and such. 5 more hours in, my doubts were confirmed. I got the game used for 18 dollars, so just shelving it now or reselling it is not so bad for me, so eh. Good game, has hiccups, think it would be better on PC. PC crowd with the huge following of rogue likes and other difficult genres I think would embrace it. I hear someone modded a keyboard/mouse control scheme for PS3 though.

@MLGOctang if you have humnity you can summon players I ussually help people out in this fight (a lot of them seem to be doing the new game plus but its still an easy fight really), I ussually use Ornstein's armour and a +4 Lightning Zweihander

the trick is try and stay as close as possible to him as you can, like the assylum demon you can also block his attacks too but be careful with your stamina, still its not really hard if you fight up and close and if you need help try and summon someone

the way I see it its safer to be hollow throughout your first playthroughs, then as you grow acostumed to the game you can start to do all the other stuff.

the only fight that really got me pissed off anyways has got to be the Capra Demon, that is an asshole of a boss

@MaliciousMayhem1987 dont worry about that steel armor, go onto anor londo and you will find Havel's armor which is preety awesome.

you will also get the armor set of the Silver Knights which is preety good too, also a bunch of Silver Knight weapons (the spear is particularily good in the catacoombs because its divine)

also if you use a heavy weapon like the Zweihander upgrade that and the enemies on Anor Londo will be easy (lightning Zweihander +4 can kill knights in 2 hits

Hint for anyone watching this. Honestly, if you hug the Taurus Demons crotch, directly between his legs as far as you can go, his attacks won't hit you. Keep your shield risen just in case, but when his attack DOES miss, you can get a few attacks in. It's a surefire way to kill the ones outside of the demon ruins.

@ChainsawVsGod You dont necessarily need to jump. Just go back on the platform a little bit, then run off. When your right above hime press R1 to smash his face in. Then run to the other end of the bridge, run back, climb ladder, and repeat. Make sure you are holding the Battleaxe with two hands!

@Megashehri near the bonfire, if you go back down the staires not across the bridge and got to your left, theres a bit where you can jump down, there should be a merchant there you can buy it off assuming you havnt killed him

Fire bombs seem to be the simplest way. I put gold pine resin on my sword, climbed up, jumped and stabbed him. That took him to 50%, then I just tossed a bomb, rolled back, tossed a bomb, rolled back. Only took maybe 6 bombs after that.

That Dragon thts after him you just run past, you need full health so flames dont kill you & you need to jump into one of those little gaps near his end of the bridge to dodge his fire, then just run through door.

I just killed tht armoured Boar, he was pretty easy, just lure him to the steps & back up so he turns around to walk back then run up & hack him with a big 2 handed sword, but stand at the back but slightly to the side cos he does a mule kick.

theres an easier way to kill him , just buy 20 plus fire bombs from the merchant thts near the last bonfire , they only cost 50 souls each ,

then go to the boss bit, lock on him as soon as he's in range & throw fire bombs & just run backwards as he comes forward & roll backwards if he does 1 of his big squish-ya jumps, & all the while just keep fire bombing him, i think it only takes like 13 bombs, i just like having some extra just in case though lol.

this actually turned out to be one heck of a easy fight. what i did was i used one of those thingies that grants you lightning properties to yours sword. when i jump/hit him from the top, it took out more then half of his energy, and then just pounded on him. he went down like a milka cow ^^
