Do you think there is enough product in a sample to press a pan to extend make-up life? I am interested in purchasing mac pigment samokes and making my own color pigments do you think that one sample is enough or would I need more than one?

I wasn't overjoyed with how much Aromaleigh charged me for how little I got when I bought the bete noir sample collection (and why not charge by weight instead of volume?). They were all mixed properly, and I'm not expecting samples of anything to last forever, but this felt like a rip-off.

I just bought the aromaleigh samples... mine were not mixed either. Estranged had chunks of blue and yellow in it. I have a general idea of what samples I like and what I will get full sized but the samples were not exact in the least bit. Pretty colors though.

This is Cheryls shiny eyes and thanks everyone for all of your referrals:) FYI, 5 gram jars can hold up to 1 tsp depending on the texture,1/2 tsp sellers usually fill it 1/2 full. I fill mine usually closer 5/8 , sometimes 3/4 full.The cool thing is you can try at home with salt, flour, ect using 2 1/4 tsp's since 1/2 tsp is hard to work with, lol. For those who know about my own line, good news the first 20+ colors are done and I'll be listing them soon.I'll always sell MAC too, I love MAC!!

I ordered 32 samples from Aromaleigh (each is supposed to be 1/16 tsp) for $.98 - $1.30 ea. My order was $37 for what I got, or didn't get is more like it. Two bags were empty (left open and e/s poured out in transit), 14 were near 1/16, 16 were way under 1/16 and some under 1/32 tsp. I was very disappointed. Nice colors, but cust service was rude and refused to correct any problems with my order. In fact, they told me their measurements were "perfect" and for me to shop else where!

Wow! That's awful!! I am so sorry to hear that! I have ordered a couple of times from them & have not had issues with the full sized jars.

This is cheryl from shiny eyes and I wanted to let everyone know I give large 1/2 tsp samples and sometimes larger. All of my buyers always tell me how happy they are with how much more I give.They come in 5 grams jars,I PACK the pigment into the tsp, then put them into the sample jars:) On all orders of 8 samples or more you also get a free one:)) as many of you know here I've been selling for 4-5 years with 100% 3000+ feedback.

i think i got one lip gloss from Alima, but it wasn't anything special. it was just okay.

The aromaleigh stuff was really nice. I forget is I bought a blush or not. I might have ;p I know their eye shadows were VERY pigmented! I liked them.

i sell samples as well im looking at your samples that you said are 1/2 tsp, that does not look like a 1/ 2 tsp seriously they look like 1/4 tsp. a real 1/2 tsp would fill that 5g sample jar!

i heard there are fake mac pigments on ebay. did you ask her before you buy it? she should at least post more pic of the bottle..so we could tell if its fake or not. anyways...i wouldnt buy it..

She's a trusted member on SpektraNet (I didn't buy these off eBay! Nor would I EVER buy MAC off eBay!) Who cares about pictures? Someone can post all the legitimate pictures they want & send you something completely different! LOL

I love how people (not saying you - I'm just rambling here) think a picture of an item guarantees that you will get that exact product. Usually it's just a random image they stole from the MAC site.

Did you have to pay for those 11 sample mac pigments? I was talking to a mac artist on the live chat and she said you can only get 1 or 2 samples but apparently shes wrong. I want like 10 samples of pigments to see if the colors are worth getting.

I clearly stated where I bought the MAC pigment samples, stated the website, how much sample came in each jar, and stated how much they cost, shipping time, etc.

Looks like a recent order, huh? I can tell by the # of the le mystere color :) Aromaleigh is all I use actually. I have over 350 of the Aromaleigh colors :) Yes, I am an addict!

My Aromaleigh samples were not completely mixed either. You can rub your fingers over the bag in a circular motion to mix the shadows so you do not get streaks when applying.
