Wow girl, you look really run down! I bet it's that big hairy legged boyfriend of yours. Is he eating all your food? Is that why you're doing this video?
This actually happened to me today. I went to the city market to get some organic food. I heard apples had started being harvested and I wanted some. Well, right by the apples were two quarts of small red fruit. I had mentioned that I thought they were apricots and the person who owned that part of the store said they were overly ripe plums that had to be eaten soon. She then said I could just have them since they probably wouldn't sell.
@TheExPlOiTeDOne619 That's definitely a valid concern. Usually if you go off the beaten path, away from main roadways its usually okay. Even if its been exposed, its still better than commercially grown produce from the store...
I was looking up edible plants in the midwest and boy did i found out alot.. i ate dandelions today lmao they were so nasty but it was like the first vitamins i had in like a month lol i feel great and it was free!
Hi Natasha:) First, Love You, lol. Secondly, when growing your own food, what kind of soil do you recommend? I'm new to this and don't have a composter yet, but I want to grow my own sprouts and herbs to start. What's the healthiest way to do that?
Switching to 100% raw is actually about the same price a week for my family. Maybe even cheapers since I'm not spending so much on meat a week!
I try to look for things on sale that week. I also check the weight on products like lettuce. The plastic boxes are cheaper then the bagged according to weight. You get more for your money;o)
I order my raw nuts at nutsonline. com Great prices and super fast!
I'm going to start my garden in just a few weeks! That will really help!
Great video as usual! Also another quick idea on how to eat healthy food for cheap. A few years ago when I was between jobs, I went to the food bank to get just the produce, and would give the cooked food, (cans etc) to others that ate that kind of food. Sometimes it was hit and miss, but other times I totally scored, there was quite a few times where there was even free organic produce! Hope this helps! Namaste
It's really fun to know that you and I have the same name! Thank you for sharing alot about the health issues you have battled with, and what you did to overcome them. It is really encouraging to me.
I do the legumes mainly lentils and some beans. What I do is soak them and rinse them. Then I let them sprout before using them much easier to digest.
Produce where I live is very expensive and scarce in the winter. When I travel to NJ and Sam's Club I can get more. Warm weather is coming and I am back to almost full raw. Green smoothies have been a life saver for me. Fairly inexpensive to make.
