@pinklicious19 Did you use margarine? I ask because margarine melts slower than butter and can make a cookie thicker. The butter melts quicker and can make the cookie spread more. -Cindy
@imatomboy123 They are definitely more chewy than crispy. A lot depends on how long you bake them for. The browner they are on the cookie sheet when you take them out of the oven, the crispier they will be. I bake mine until just barely brown, that way they will be chewier! -Cindy
please answer: how much white chocolate is 2 lindt white chocolate bars? i want to use white chocolate chips instead because that is what i have on hand
@jykellylee If you soften the butter and really whisk the butter and sugars together, it will be fine. The texture of the cookie may be a bit different, but the taste will be great! -Cindy
I'm thinking about making these. Has anybody made these before? I want to know if they are any good? They certainly look good though, just want some testaments.
@GawdImHungry It really depends for your tastes in cookies. I personally LOVE these cookies. They are my favorite maybe of all time. Unlike other cookies, I love the white chocolate and macadamia nuts. I think you should give it a try. :D
I really like the flavor of this white chocolate, so that's why I recommend it. I've tried others and found them to be seriously lacking in flavor....But if you have a white chocolate that you like the taste of, then you can certainly use it! -Cindy
@cindyj2175 no, but it's fine, they still taste great. I'll try again next time. Thanks!

i did not see you use almond extract. it help give that cookie the "nuttie" flavor we look for when we eat a white choc. maca. cookie
Mitchellboy1800 4 months ago
@Mitchellboy1800 I prefer a more "vanilla" taste when using white chocolate, but feel free to add almond if that is what you like! -Cindy

If you don't have time to bake these cookies off right away, the dough keeps really well in the fridge for a day or 2. -Cindy
