Yeah..this pretty much sux...the studio version was kinda OK. I luv the early stuff like everyone else & this was the beginning of the end! Compare this to "Live At Rock City"!!!
Correct, this is Fred Purser who was in new wave band Penetration before the Tygers. I prefered them with Sykes too, but I do like this version of Making Tracks, the jazzy solo and the whammy bits at the start.
Fucking horrible, like bad 70's glam! 'The Cage' was an utter embarrassment after 'Spellbound' and 'Crazy Nights'; not even Jon Deverill can make this listenable.
I remember the classic Sykes stuff, this was really bad Slade meets Gary Glitter!....
