What does this mean? The numbers saying that 50000 people died from it are completely false. They are blown way out of proportion to SCARE you.

Not only that, but they were the worse reactors ever Constructed.

There were thousands of "liquidators" assigned to the task of cleaning up this mess so that the remaining reactors at Chernobyl could resume power generation. Many of these liquidators died immediately, many died in the following months, and some are still living today. None of these deaths were documented in the estimated death toll.

This is Pripyat, the Chernobyl worker's town. It's not from MW1 or anything and people should check their facts. The radiation wouldn't kill in one day. The highly exposed workers suffered for two weeks. They were in the plant. With the absorbtion by soil and water washing it away, the town is relativally clean of rads. The plant, especially close to reactor unit #4 is the only area that will remain highly radioactive for years to come.

Minor detail, chernobyl city is not the town COD modern warfare1 is based on. It is based on the town called prypjat. Lot of this video is filmed in prypjat. just a small part is filmed in chernobyl city(you drive trough going there)

What i know is that choppers don't offer much radiation protection. Maybe the radiation caused the pilots to become buzzed and their view became blury fpor example. then they hit the cables. At this level of radiation you don't survive long you know. especially when your just above a blown reactor...
