  • @krsn5 I will look for a nice translation of this poem and post it here. I am not happy with my clumsy translation at all.

    cheers

  • in ahang khodast

  • Merciii, nice 5*****

  • krsn5, if you can get anything from my translation just let me know. I will send you second line.

  • "My beloved one is cheerful, Look at her two narcisus" (look at her eyes, narcissi is pronounced Narges in Farsi) " The story of her sublime beauty is heared by evey one".

    - Note that In this line he is just projecting his own feeling to his beloved one, actually the poet is cherful from the love

  • There is no way I can translate this one. The poem is full of metapho. It is easy to get what she is singing for Farsi speakers but you have to know about Roomi expresion to undrestant all of it. I will do my best to give you a very simple translation.

  • merci merci merci

    Pleaaaaaase add translation too...

I can feel the song but it might be better if i know WHAT i am singing!

I saw the movie NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT PERSIAN CATS and got to know about this song....
