  • "Little children, let no man deceive you. He that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.

He that committeth sin is of the devil, for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil".

  • @ThomasWinkworth , Amen to what? Your comment is evidence you do not understand the Power of the Blood. You need to listen to the video. IF you are born again you have NO sin, because the Blood cleans you FROM all sin(1 John 1:7)...Now Amen that!!!

  • I've met many who claim to be Christians whose lives seem worse (darker, more decadent) than they were before they were baptized. And if you question their conversion, they get very angry. Our lives should not be worse after having received Christ . Speak the truth. Our church is studying 1 John for 11 weeks. The elders are praying for us to mature . You speak truth.

  • @nuts4knits , and may the Holy Spirit continue to guide you to all truth, amen & God bless.

  • very straight forward.god bless.

  • @AaronTrutsJC , May Jesus bless you & keep you strong IN Him

  • True Core 08 and this video has and will open many eyes and ears. People out there email and share the true life giving word.

  • Very good video. Satan has infiltrated the church and has fooled all to believe that sinning is normal, and we all submit to to our weaknesses and sins. FALSE DOCTRINE, and I'm angry and the church ignorant old fools, these pastors are the devils children.

  • @2pacOG ,AMEN!! are the Devil's children no doubt...may God's lost sheep FLEE those wicked men! God Bless brother

  • Good explanation! I have been turned off by the "All Christians sin" doctrine too. I'm not sinless yet but want to be.

  • @IAmANaturalBeauty , God Bless you sister...Through the Grace of God you WILL, because God is faithful to whomever believes, love your faith!

  • Anyone who is really saved hates the sin in there life, the conviction of the holy spirit starts to do a work on your heart and you begin to hate the sinful things of this world. Good video bro.

  • @RicoRicanNYC ,AMEN!!!!! God has blessed you with understanding...God Bless.

  • 1 John 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

  • There is 1 John 1:6 to keep people from using verse 8 as an excuse to sin wilfully. Those who walk in darkness DO not the truth.

  • There is 1 John 2:4 to keep people from using 1:8 as an excuse to sin wilfully.

And then there is verse 8 and 2:1 to disprove those who would use verse 6 or 2:4 to say there is no forgiveness available if you stumble. The work God begins in us is not finished the moment He starts it.~Hbw.13:9 Be not carried about with diverse and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with GRACE; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein

  • Romans 7:19 19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do . 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

    Paul sinned...U?

  • 1) Chap 4:1 " I write these things to you who believe in the name of the son of God..." they DO have fellowship with the lord. 2) I just don't see how you can tell people that when he says "if WE say we have no sin we make him out to be a liar"...that he's some how talking to another party, when he used the same word WE when he said that he was walking in light? Read the word as is (no spine) and its clear that John sinned...but he didn't WALK (grek: peripateō) or carry on in it.

  • Amen! I can't tell ya how many times I hear Christians justify walking in sin with with chapter, changing scripture by changing "if" to "when". Keep attacking the We all Sin doctrine, we need to keep ONLY the sound doctrine of Christ in the treasures of our hearts with no pollution or poison.

    God bless you.

  • @macroheart , AMEN brother!!! As long as God give me breath in my lungs I will continue attacking Satan, amen.

  • Good word, brother!

  • Jesus saves. Keep up the good work.

  • @munden1971 , Amen brother...Only few can receive truth, and understand the context of 1 John chapter 1, God Bless

  • Yeah,it's not a false teaching,Jesus was the Propitiation for ALL SIN,even of the world's,all sin has been handled,we will now either follow Him or not,to receive that Free Gift, even Isaiah says "without Price or Reward" and I do know that Faith without works is dead and it's by faith through Grace.

  • Though many do abuse the grace and mercy, the grace and mercy still applies to the brethren, and that letter isn't only to unbelievers neither did John seperate the brethren from the possibilty of messing up and sinning, the entire bible from Acts to Revelation shows the room for error, though I hope to never sin again.Go read the rest of the comments I dropped on that last video, even in Acts Paul called Peter out for the sins of Hypocricy and Respecter of Persons.

  • Excellent proper teaching of the Word !

  • AMEN AMEN!!!

  • Ok Dear, I've got to Go. But think about what we have discussed. Read them over. I see a zeal to teach, but just like Apollo, it is unprofitable if its not done right. If two or more points out errors, I would listen & go to the fountain of Living Waters, sit under His tutilage, abide in him & his words abide in me Jn15:7. Some things that we do are grevious sins, such as blocking people who do not agree with us.The Sripture says to gently correct those in error. True Believers have His Spirit.

  • I've had that truecore08 vid on sin in my favorites for quite some time now...I'm glad u referenced it.

  • Amen fractalfires!! Watching your videos I see God has blessed you with much wisdom...So your encouragement means a lot to me, because I know you too are led by God's Holy Spirit...

    God Bless you brother!

  • God bless you brother, i was stuck on Original/ Inherited sin doctrine most of my life and i was believing in Eternal Security for almost a year. It took God to reveal the truth to me through prayer and God promises to reveal the truth to those that search it out diligently. Thank you for your videos too

  • @DictatorStatus Thank you for your kind words...Glory to God that your eyes are now opened...Allow NO man tell you different according to God's Word.

God Bless you and may God protect you and your family!!!

  • Hello brother,

You don't believe in the perseverance of the saint? That a man can be saved then lose his salvation? What are your thoughts on this?

  • @crem004 ...We must endure until the "end" God has given us Hebrews 10:26, and Hebrews 6...So there is no room for complacency, we must "abide" "continue" In Christ...Many are called, but FEW are chosen.

  • I don't know if you got my last comment or not, but I suggested that you take a look at "The Letters of John" by John W. Stott, He is a great, godly scholar who clears up the difficulties you try to tackle here.

  • *John R.W. Stott

    correction :)

  • Djan....You know I'm reading straight from the word of God w/out adding or subtracting, not "justifying" sin. Is this guy you are talking about taking this book out of it's context, therefore justifying a "little" sin in a Christian's life?...We are to live sinFREE...I suggest you watch Truecore08 who is someone who lives through the Spirit & does NOT sin anymore...Can you say the same about John R.W. Scott? If so then I'll look him up.

    God Bless, De...

  • He's not adding or subtracting from the book, and he isn't justifying living in sin (if that's what you mean by "justifying" sin). I suggested his book because he is an expert in Greek and clarifies some of the translation difficulties regarding 1st John - which would, in turn, correct some of the errors that many Christians make regarding 1st John.

  • I didn't say they wasn't believers, but in verse 3 they didn't have the SAME fellowship as they, because they were in sin...Christians today believe, but like James said the Devils believe and tremble...Repentant believers SHOW fruits meet for repentance...If "we" are still sinning then obviously this is a walk in darkness in which there is NO fellowship with Jesus.

  • I do honestly believe that God's Spirit is powerful enough, but you seem to also forget the several passages in the bible where Paul tells CHRISTIANS the things they should do to not sin. Even himself admitted that he was struggling. What do you think the thorn in the flesh was?

  • That thorn in the flesh was temptation...In which we all have, but God has promised not to give us more than we can handle...Also Paul said when we are weak we are STRONG, Glory to the Holy Spirit!!!!

  • Well if you believe he is powerful enough you must remain on that thought ONLY....You can't say he's powerful enough, BUT....."But" is taking away that power you say you believe.....

  • MOST people hate The LORD and have GREAT LIVES. Those people WONT be saved.

  • To put it bluntly, HSD: Conditional security makes your salvation dependent upon you and, thereby, undermines the perfect work of Christ Jesus on Calvary. The LORD is my salvation. Salvation (past, present and future) is of grace, not of works lest anyone should boast. A good tree bears good fruit. A bad tree bears bad fruit. Those who are saved WILL bear fruit, and WILL perservere. Those who aren't saved will b-o-u-n-c-e...

  • Djan...Dependent on me? No. I'm dependent on the Holy Spirit in which God has given me, therefore you are correct...Lest anyone should boast? I can't, because it is not me, but Jesus through me that bears good fruit. So I'm not only grateful for the perfect work Jesus did at the cross, but ALSO for the PERFECT work he is doing today in which we walk after the Spirit and NEVER after the flesh.........

  • Hey, man. I didn't mean any offense. I am in agreement with you that there are many hypocrites in the church, but John isn't talking about the Jews. He is talking about a group of heretics called "Gnostics" who claimed that only that which is spiritual is important, so one could do whatever one wanted to with their body. John is affirming that sin is a reality, that the body is also important (hence 1:1-4's emphasis on the physical reality of Jesus Christ - something which Gnostics still deny),

  • All of God's children will get chastised as myself have...The purpose for chastisement is so we can learn from our wrong doing and stop, just as we train our children. But yes like children we do grow and become obedient to God, therefore chastisement isn't needed, because we now KNOW we turn to God in times of temptations and take that escape which he provides. In before times we didn't turn to him, therefore we "fell" and felt miserable afterward, because we were young in spirit. Ye must grow

  • As Romans 7 Paul was being chastised, because God loved him even though Paul was sinning at that time...But when he was DELIVERED from that body of death & ch.8 Paul was no longer a "child", but an adult in Spirit who no longer needs chastisement, because he had the Holy Spirit(Heb.12:11)AFTERWARD it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness...A father doesn't chastise their son when they become an adult anymore...YOU have not resisted unto the blood, striving AGAINST sin..Read Hebrews 12...

  • 1 John 1

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

  • To me, John is saying that as we walk with the Lord in His light, we should be growing. As we begin to develop, the Holy Spirit reveals the error of our ways (sin through ignorance), and Jesus' blood cleanses us as we confess them. We all need to be thoroughly purged.

As you stated in your other video, Christians have different degrees of knowledge in the Lord; so, the Lord works with each individual accordingly.

  • bornagain...sins through ignorance isn't "imputed" on us, therefore it isn't sin...Now when the Holy Spirit reveals the error, then we "repent" which is to change our mind and stop the error in which we were doing. When we are cleansED by the blood from ALL sin, we are then sin FREE. In the context of ch.1 John clearly is talking about people who willfully sinned(walk in dark) and didn't have the same fellowship as he & the apostles.

  • HolySpiritDwell, according to John, he was clearly addressing those who were in the truth.

    1 John 2

20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

  • Yes you are correct about chapter 2...But in one he was dealing with a different group. John clearly said that ye MAY HAVE fellowship with us. Even Paul did this to Cor. church, when he said they were yet carnal striving against each other..This doesn't mean "everyone" was carnal, but "some" he addressed. Just as John "some" were still walking in darkness and haven't yet had fellowship with them, because they were still in dark.

  • HolySpiritDwells - I agree that sins of ignorance aren't imputed upon us, but they still need to be purged away so we don't commit them anymore. Perhaps, this is what John is referring to.

    Numbers 15

27 And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.

28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.

  • Freewill...(1 John 3:8,9)...For this purpose the Son of God was MANIFESTED, that he might DESTROY the works of the Devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed REMAINETH in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

  • Freewill...For this purpose the Son of God was MANIFESTED, that he might DESTROY the works of the Devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed REMAINETH in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

  • What is your concern with my brothers words, my friend?

  • People who make excuses for sin are people who love sin. People who love sin also love death. People who love death have no fellowship with Christ that's why they can't understand the holy word, it's not for them.
