It's funny that even after loosing more than a 132000 men in korean war, Chinese still claim victory. Us lost just about 50 thousand. If i add the wounded chinese lost about 400K and Us around132K. This is 1:3 ratio in favor of US.

US's objective in Korea War was to eliminate North Korea. China's objective in Korea War was to defend North Korea's survival.

China obviously accomplished its goal in the war, US didn't.

US objective in the Vietnam war was to protect South Vietnam and destroy the communist leadership in North Vietnam.

NVA's objective in the war was to push out the US forces and conquer South Vietnam.
