This ad makes my blood boil. Worse, the air the damned thing 500 times per day. Murphy's rendition is pathetic, and he sounds as if he is trying to pass the universes largest bowel movement. Beyond me why the hell they chose Murphy let alone instant Karma. Chase Bank using a John Lennon tune is the largest insult. For you youngsters reading this - John Lennon was anti-corporate. That is what is so ironic about it. Plus it just sucks!

Since you're still shredding Murphy based on familiarity with his work with Bauhaus when you were in college (in other words, over two decades ago), it still seems to me that you're just bitter because they didn't use Lennon's vocals. As for the anti-corporate concept, Lennon may have claimed that, but he certainly reaped the profits of working within the context of the corporate world. I haven't noticed anyone handing out free Beatles or Lennon albums lately. That's what's really ironic.
