I believe that the intention of the scene with the orange was to tell the viewer that this character is very far from ordinary and to closely pay attention to him. This is truly one of the most weird scenes I've ever watched and surely one of my most favorite ones ever. John Locke is my favorite Lost hero, he has such a pure heart.

I like who Locke was. I don't like what the Island did to him. This is my favorite scene. You are not expecting it. Just like Kate wasn't either. IT was great.

um, youre not even the person i was asking, sooo. anyway, of course someone can have their own opinion. and someone can also question them on their opinion, as i did. if someone were to ask me, i'd be able to answer. not that big of a deal.

I just didn't like that someone so humble could become some turning so angry. He wanted the island so bad he hurt people to get it, like Sawyer. Sawyer killing Locke's father hurt Sawyer more then helped him. I am not a huge Sawyer fan, but I thought that was a low thing to do. I just didn't like that he was so unaware of everyone else's feelings just to get what he wanted.
