I love Glenn's...Christmas Day. I met my very first girlfriend, back when, songs such By the Time I get to Phoenix, and Witchta Lineman made the charts.
Dennis Day did a version of this on Jack Benny's show back in the 1950's. I haven't heard this song since my parents played the LP that had music from Mr. Benny's Christmas show when I was a little kid in the 1960's.
That Christmas Feeling was NEVER released by Capitol Records on CD, BIG MISTAKE! 1 of the best-selling Xmas LPs of the 20thCentury. Bootleg copies &a few import CD's do pop up on ebay, &sell for between $75-$125 a pop. What you hear here is a record ( original source, hence the background noise.) Capitol Records just don't have a clue anymore. Other than the Beatles & The Beach Boys, I'd say Glen Campbell was their biggest resource, not just his solo work but his session work included!~ Diamond
What a fabulous day I'm having -- I was able to find this, one of my all time favorite Christmas songs!!! And I did not know that Glen sang this song -- and it sounds so beautiful and well, I just love it -- I heard it for the first time on a Time Life or Readers Digest Christmas Collection that my friend had on CD but was never able to find it again -- Merry Christmas to you and yours, and thank you for this early Christmas present!! Big Hug here!
I am 55 now and my mom and dad had this album called That Christmas Feeling on 8 track, I have the album but you cannot find it on Cd anywhere , the songs on this album are the best ever and bring back such sweet memories.... love him...
it's so sad. He was on the "Ellen Degeneres' show wed. He can barely carry a tune. And he forgot some of the words to the song he was singing. His wife was with him.I really feel bad for him.He use to be so good.. God Bless you Glenn.
OMG!!!!!! This is my favorite Christmas song of all time!! I used to sing it to my family..or anyone who was around me when it came on. I used to have it on an record, then a CD and then I lost it. I looked for it last year but it was not on YouTube. Thank you so much for posting it!!! (snif snif..snif snif) Thank you...
This is one of the great overlooked Christmas classics of all time that I just discovered a couple years ago. This ranks up there with Andy Williams and Nat King Cole for the same serene, soothing beauty that you don't hear in modern Christmas music. Glen's smooth, heartfelt voice is perfect for songs like this.
This is from Glen's masterpiece album "That Christmas Feeling" that is loooong overdue for a reissue on CD.
This song conveys all the feeling of this great season. It has been in my collection since the 1980's when I first bought the album on vinyl. Can't wait for this great season to come so I can spend it with my son who's having his first Christmas.

I know that Glen's fighting Alzheimer's, but he surely still knows how to sing a great song, and this one's a great example! I wish him all the best.

@BloozeDaddy76 : most of the cuts are out, even though I'm still not aware of the entire LP in its original packaging on CD.
