  • Amazing double lift... Also your triple lify awesome. An excellent performance of the Jumping Gemini card trick. Well Done my friend!!! 5 stars!!! :D

  • I loved it mann

But why does everybody hate the music?

I mean you cant play some freaking Drake or Young money during this?

  • @WeAreFuturistic I'm not sure... It used to be Mano Negra's "Magic Dice", but then the copyright hellhounds complained, and I changed it to something royalties-free... And now people complain about the cheesy smooth jazz! You just can't make everyone happy, now, can you? ;)

  • thats aperfect perfomance !:D well done and i love the song haha :D

  • wow 4 months is amazing... btw how do you do that last part with the jokers? do you have 2 altogether?

  • omg i fucking hatttttttttttteeee the sonnngggg!!!

  • what i admire most about this performance is that you can't (at least I can't) tell that they're double and triple lifts :).

  • very nice performance, check out mine performance of this trick

  • Looked great.

  • Very well executed. I usually use 10's and kings, but I liked this a tad better. I will use clear cards while doing walk around and that always gets em too.

  • You executed this very well.

  • The first card he placed on the table at the very beginning is trying to escape !

  • @wallace2311 not only that, he also hesitated after that first card tried to escape.. I think that was the real magic going on.

  • great execution! =)

where is the title of the song?

  • thats so cool!! i wish i could do card tricks lol

  • nice lifts my friend, masterful

  • very smooth how long did you practice?

  • The song is awesome ! I love that card trick, I have shown it to soo many people and they don't understand how I do it ;)

  • I think its more fun to show the last two Jokers at the same time and just lay 'm open to see. Makes it even more asumeable that the cards are in fact 4 Jokers.

  • @Lopplt I'm not sure... I haven't tried it, but I think there is a risk in a discrepancy in procedure: why leave only two of the four cards face up? What's different about those two?

  • @learningstudio I get what you're coming. But the thing is: you keep showing 1 of the others at the time. If you show 2 Jokers at the same time it makes it'll amaze the audience even more and make them more likely to believe there are in fact 4 Jokers. Should always try to make the finishing move a bit different,

  • omg your double lift is the best :)

  • dude, your double and triple lifts are flawless. and so is your elmsley count. nice job, man!

  • Amazing. Your flips are so perfect. I'm not even able to follow your movements and I have perfected this illusion

  • when you were doing the joker you kinda revealed how you did it.. you kept grabbing cards from the bottom

  • @orozcormanuel Right, 'cause everybody knows that when they go to the bottom, cards magically change to jokers? I'm not trying to hide that the cards come from the bottom, that's what it is supposed to look like.

  • @orozcormanuel I do this trick and if you think that you can figure it out just because you feel he revealed by grabbing from the bottom, you know very little about magic. There are quite a few moves in this trick. To make it look as good as this you need to practice it many times. This was a great performance. And I know how it's done!

  • I don't like the music.

  • your really good at that

  • love this handling!! I wish I knew step by step what you were doing. I can follow pretty close, but its rough. Thanks for the video!

  • Amazing!

  • amazing!

  • amazing!

  • Great trick! Check out my channel for my performance of this trick

  • labachaca

  • cool music and trick also)

  • I like this version and yeah, that was a beautiful Elmsley Count

  • whats up with the song

  • such a flawless elmsley count

  • sii proprio na manoo negraaaaa :D:D:D:D:D

  • you handle the cards so good

    its excellent 5/5

  • The best performance on youtube! 4/5

  • beautiful and clean performance. didn't suspect a thing when you showed the 4th Ace of Spades

  • Good performance, i like it! :)

  • hey guys i have recently just made a new video plz watch it it its really good i practiced really hard and ived master the jumoing jemeni i wil lsoon be making lots and LOTS of new magic tricks... right now im trying to make my own magic trick..... to see my video jsut click my name

  • nice man... good preformance too!!... i am learning this trick but it is very hard

  • that would be great if song wasn't so annoying.

  • Mano Negra is not annoying, it's classic. But, if you don't like it, just turn it off. We have the technology to mute sound! Really, it is possible. Just stop whining about it!

  • sorry, I thought I was leaving "feedback". Didn't realize you were so thin-skinned. Yes I can (and did) turn the volume down. But if it wasn't "annoying" no one should have to do that...I thought that would have been a clue when you were typing that responce *shrug*

  • @unmungo haha, good man, you know the score

  • @unmungo i like the music, do do do do :)

  • @unmungo umm, not the greatest music ever.

  • @slambe1966 I actualy liked the song for some reason, I don't know why.

  • so good. omg. this has to be the best jumping gemini video on youtube, and the music didn't ruin the video, it just added a fun effect to it so you can enjoy the video a little more

  • The music ruined the video. Shut that crap off!

  • fuck u man... stop bitching. stupid assfuck..

    redneck

  • @InnoZthefirst It's 'You're an amateur' please, get your grammar correct before you bag someone out.

  • i hate the flushtration count :(

    but you did it well

  • o my god u made that look so easy...that was a nice performance also, it was cool how u slowed down with the music perfectly....ur just 2 good!!!!!!!

  • Wow. I think you did an excellent job. I am just learning this trick so I am no where near as good at it as you are, but I hope I can be. That was a great performance.

  • thats amazing ur great

  • rough dl...

  • pshh four months? u double lift like you'vebeen doin this 4 decades i envy your talent

  • The music SUCKS!

  • Cool music! :)

    And well done routine!

  • perfect double and triple just perfect

  • exelent

  • Great and smooth card handling!!

  • when ever i try an do the double and triple lifts like that, thay always slip away from each other.:( Any Tips?

  • try with a push block, as to say, instead of trying to take the top two or three cards, try to push all the cards away from the bottom card. they all slip apart, and you take them as one card, and flip them. hth

  • Hi!

Press thumb and forefinger together and stick two cards just between the tips of these two fingers. Then they will not slip away since your fingers stick together. hth

  • great performance...... absolutly amazing... just when u show the 4 tens the second time I find it works better with a 3 card monte throw with 4 cards.. I got a jumping gemeni vid on my chanel with it on .. check it out if u wanna... other than that.. amazing

  • i ment the 4 aces.. hehe..... my mistake

  • someone watches mismag

  • hehe

  • it's incredible

  • shit music

  • so fast

  • That good keep it up

  • and the finish is awesome

  • hmmm i think it's great but some where I can see the lifts but i think u'r great

  • funny music and great perfomance.

    i love this trick.

  • this song, im hooked

  • Your card handlingis impecable

  • what the fuck

  • Ohhh Ps..

One think I think you forgot or did not do, is that you should show the last 2 cards together or very close to eachother, as it is the only chance you really get to do it, and it gives a nice effect to see that you can show em like that as well..

  • Good preformance.. Good lifts :)

You are using rommy cards and not poker cards right?

They look a little slim to me, and I think they are the best kind of cards for this trick... At least I think you need to keep a tighter grib on poker cards as they are a bit wider and harder to flip over without sliding apart.

    Anyway nice preformance, sweet tunes..

  • Funny song man and i love this trick!!!!!!!

  • Jumping Gemini - this is one of my favorite tricks... I always do this after i perform Stand Up monte... ehehehehe... I like your tricks... all of your video is amazing... Im just new in magic... nice work...

  • Your lifts are quite amazing. Mine often look a little weird, and are therefore not as convincing... I guess it's an innate ability, because I've been doing magic for about a year now and still my lifts kind of suck.

  • Thanks. Look up Brother John Hamman's book: I'm using his handling of a DL from a small packet, which quite honestly is the only way to go if you have 4 or 5 cards.

  • Sorry to bother you once again, but regarding the move near the end where you show all four cards as being the ace (second time, after the DLs and TLs), do you know the name of it? I know how it's done, of course; I just wondered if it had a name.

  • No problem. It's called the Flustration count, I believe.

  • eh tudu mib ntirangiajfçd\

  • Niceee. I have a gemini trick uploaded too. ^^. Yours was pretty great. =]

  • I can do this trick but you do it alot better, good job

  • Flawless card magic! Eclectic taste in music. I didn't know anyone outside of France knew of this band! The Black Hand! Dude, you rock on multiple levels of weird!!! KG

  • Thank you Mr. Kent. There are some advantages to growing up in Europe, I guess... Italy is not that far from France, and Mano Negra was part of the soundtrack of my despondent adolescence... Thanks for the compliments!

  • lol u could say im a BIT of a fan lol

  • this song is the weirdest song in the world so why was i dancing through the whole song?

  • That's the power of Mano Negra!

  • Your version is a good one. Virtualy no u tube performers use the pinky count because although it is the best method it is the most dificult. If you want to improve your version further check out Darwin Ortiz's original version and you will see his trick actually has a rythem to it, again this flies by most u tube performers.

  • you should check out "easterrhyming"'s performance of this trick. it's extremely flawless lol. try searching "easterrhyming" on youtube

  • hey, I use the pinky count all the time, I've never used a buckle in any card trick

  • it was well esecuted. I like it.

  • I want to find and murder you for playing this music. Otherwise good job :D

  • :D. It's much easier to slide the volume control to the left. It's right up there, next to the time of the video.

No Mano Negra fans around here?

  • real amazing lol..how can u do that...perfectly performed..i have no clue how u do that..especialy the wildcard-part..great vid

  • This was very good. I honestly don't know what that guy was talking about saying it was below 50% or something. Must be retarded.

  • Actually, my performance has been officially clocked at a clean 58%, so there! :)

  • This was well performed.

In terms of technique it is the best I've seen on youtube.

    However, work on your lifts.

They could be slowed down and be a bit smoother.

I also like the little bit you added in the middle--its quite good.

    Keep it up.

  • Thanks for the feedback. This was posted more than a year ago (hard to believe); in the intervening time, my technique got better... Sometimes I watch some of my older videos and cringe a little bit. What bit in the middle?

  • Hey,

hahah I think every magician does that when they look back at when they were a beginner.

Yeah I guess that was a little confusing but what I meant was that compared to most other peoples versions of Jumping Gemini, the "bit" or parts in the middle were more true to the original trick that you performed. Hope that helps.

Oh and sorry it took so long to reply to the post.

And don't listen to the guy above, even if it was an earlier performance it was well executed.

  • good job..

  • good performance

  • crazy good handling!

  • dam dude that is good handeling!! crazy

  • very nice

I like the effect as well...keep it up

  • Well done. This is one of my favorite card tricks as well.

  • Very nice handling there :)

  • You are excellent!

  • excellent nice trick loved it maybe u teach ur card tricks 2 us

  • Very perfect

  • perfect!

  • you do it very good, just another something to add to this trick that i love to show when i'm performing this trick..

i like to add another elmsly count to make this count more convincing as hecklers might not believe its a simple "order-reversed packet" i got that sometimes so i wanted to make it more convincing, and it worked. but great job nice performance

  • Please watch me performing the jumping gemini on my user! Please leave a comment about how I am doing! :)

  • I've actully just been in Horsens to Magic junior weekend in Denmark and i talked with the creater of this trick. Darwin Ortiz!

He was there and he showed me the jumping gemini and some other tricks AND HE PERFORMED THEM PERFECT!!!

I talked to him and asked how many deck of cards he use each yeah!

    and he answerd 500!!!

He also train 6 hours a day!

He also used my deck of cards, for some tricks and after he signed the deck!

  • Pretty nice JG. The first I've seen that uses jokers, which should be obvious, really.

  • yep nice. Diminishing count was good but watch out for the last card. Also when u do a flushtration, make sure you keep the cards in a fan in the left hand when youre done showing them. Its much more "eye pleasing" and clear. Great job!

  • Thanks, good tip on the flushtration count!

  • Nice Masters edition Deck I've just posted a video of me performing which my new masters, but I didn't use the cool Ace

  • You a great serious!!! great! And good music choise, ur 1 of the funny guys!!

  • lol, i really like this video!

music is cool, and the trick was very clean!

it's almost like the music and the trick went together! :)

  • Thank you, I was trying to pick a song that would go with the trick. Glad you appreciate!

  • love the trick but i love the song more :) trick was clean and was done well.

  • Thanks a lot lilmonwns! As you can see appreciation for Mano Negra varies on the Internets. Glad you appreciated. ;)

  • heres a sugjusttion dont use music that makes me want to brake my computer

  • That's a pretty good "sugjusttion", although I like mine with a little more worcestershire sauce. :)

May I suggest that it is both less violent and more economical to just drag the volume slider all the way to the left?

  • when your doing your lifts and when your not you need to use the same hand movement of the left hang as you do when you do your lifts makes it less catchable.. ( the sliding of your thumb)

  • smooth...I like

  • Very nice handling. I really enjoy your videos and great seeing some good old classics amongst the wannabecrissangeldavidblainelevitationstreetmagicpunks. Thank you"

  • I have a tutorial on how to do this trick and i must say you performed that superb! Your double lifts and triple lifts Were really smooth ! i admire this and i will add this video to my faves

  • Lol, It must of been alittle hard.. I've been practicing this trick for quite a bit.. trying to figure out ways to do it stylish, yet I can't get the last 10 right... (Not to be mean or anything, but your last ten was kinda noticable...)You should try jumping the card, hence - The JUMPING Gemini. It's a cool way of doing it.

  • I think you're referring to the Ace, which in Roy Raphaeli's version was a 10. To me, doing it with a little "jump" calls attention to the fact that you're doing something weird. The audience might not catch what you did, but they know you did something. On video you can catch a lot of stuff that you normally wouldn't, and I found that the way I do it is never actually caught by the audience, if done swiftly and on the offbeat. Just a matter of preference, really. ;)

  • its very obvious when your taking the jokers from the middle and bottom

  • Yeah, the gemini count was a little clunky. I was using Bycicles Master edition, which are a little stiffer than regular cards, making the sleight hard to perform smoothly (for me). However, I was under the impression that they should look like they're all coming from the bottom, so that is not a problem in my opinion. Still doesn't explain how they're all four jokers after they've been two of heart and ace of spades... :)

  • Nice push-off double.

  • tut please

  • It's relatively easy, actually. All you have to do is find the most comfortable chair in the house, sit down, and spend seven days and seven nights with a deck of cards in front of you repeating this mantra: "vernonelmsleyhofzingerdonotrevealsecrets". Eat nothing but microwaved ramen noodles. After the seventh night a one-armed dwarf will appear to you in a vision, giving you the method via an interpretative dance. ;)

    Sorry...

  • Very good, keep it up.

  • Thanks, rahulydav, I appreciate the encouragement!
