  • how old is she?

  • Hey I need Help , I just bought my african grey 2 days ago and when I go close to him He starts screaming ! and once I just let the cage open he flew and sat in a corner and I went near him but he screams and bites and fly far from me ! , Can anyone help me please ?

  • what treat are you giving her in the video

  • I use shelled pine nuts, she seems to like them best. If you use other treats, try and make them small and "bite sized".

  • @BirdSong5521 I am an animal trainer so this is an advice. Break the treats in smaller pieces . if pieces of the treat fall down on the floor and your pet is trying to get them then it will distract it badly. As for training those thing have to be fast so the pet clearly understands it and u can do it many times . :)

  • Shorten her window of opportunity and go inslightly smaller steps, ut the spoon closer until she is touching it frequently, then move it away.

If you just go closer and closer like that, it's less effective.

    Nice job otherwise!

  • nice parrot !! ive started clicker training my cockatiel since like 2 days and i think its going well !! :D !! i hope so !!
