  • That was great! real talent. I would rather see that than some of the Pop Crap they put on nowadays and call it country!!

  • Great performance' by very gifted folk's

  • I make me happy to see such gifted musicians work together..

  • MAGICAL!!!!! @myjustified. . . if you are calling either Vince or Keb' Mo' a pop has been you are truly clueless my dear. And mean. Thank you Opry for your depth and openness to honor the blues.

  • @mackyboneycheese Talking about Keb Mo and I stand by my comment, the grand ole opry is meant to be a stage for country music, and no i'm not talking about Vince i like him and I think it's good the older ones are still loyal to the show ok but I'm just saying this kind of stuff is what has brought the downfall of Country music.

  • The one person that disliked this dislikes all music. this was amazing

  • So this is what the Grand Ole Opry has come too, letting pop has beens promote their trash on a stage intended for Country Music

  • blasphemic

  • the posts i mean for sure

  • @MyJustified.... Seriously? Pop has-beens????? You should hit up Google before you post such stupidity here. Vince Gill might as well OWN the Grand Ole Opry. Look it up.

  • @MyJustified What an intolerant comment ! Lack of knowledge, I guess

  • @Thebluesandme I don't see how my comment is intolerant, I never said anything about race. sexuality etc All I'm saying is the opry is for country music not this

  • @MyJustified I´m from Denmark so I´m not into all that racial things...I was thinking about musical intolerance...not colors...Country Blues Jazz Rock Pop..It´s all music...Note by note !

  • this IS AMERICAN

  • Too bad this ugly sound from Keb's resonator. Definitively no option yet for live sound on resonator guitar except a good old mike...

  • I've seen Keb Mo twice and he's a great musician, and, of course, Vince Gill is a musical genius. I enjoyed this video very much, particularly Gill's harmony on the choruses, and the instrumental leads by the pedal steel, then Vince, then Keb, at the end. Delightful. Was sorry to hear that Keb lost all his gear in the Nashville flood. I guess disasters strike the wealthy and poor in equal measure.

  • Love it. Two icons from different musical backgrounds. Magic!

  • awesome

  • This is awesome... Loved watching and listening to it... Can't wait for Keb to come back to australia....

  • *TIGHT* and *TOUGH* New Orleans Blues to the Grand Ol' Opry.

Yes, Mr. Keb'Mo. You are one of my Go To Modern Day Blues Men ... walk in ANY world with that big Heart and Blessed Talent of yours!

  • Keb' Mo' with a pedal steel. Amazing.

  • This is not Country Music.

  • @Vaultcracker2 No...this is where blues meets country, like when Brad Paisley was joined by B.B. King to record "Let the Good Times Roll." There's nothing wrong with a cross-genre collaboration as long as it works and, with Keb' Mo' and Vince Gill, it works and it did with Paisley and King too.

Also, on some Johnny Cash tribute album, Keb' Mo' did a version of "Folsom Prison Blues," if I remember right. Just because he's a bluesman, it doesn't mean he doesn't respect country.

  • great song and great performances by all!
