@luismafnas I did notice that the rose bush did not bloom as the priest had requested. God does not perform miracles based on the simple request of an individual in order to "prove" Himself God. A miracle occurred in Lourdes when Bernadette "ate of the plants" and "washed her face in the spring" which was not yet visible to her. Bernadette obeyed without question and as a result, God gave the world the healing spring which still exists this very day for not just the priest but for everyone
@luismafnas Our Lady has no divine power. She only does what God asks of her. It was God who performed the miracle at Lourdes. He sent Our Lady to convey his message to Bernadette.
@luismafnas Ahhh but she did, just not when the priest wanted it. YOu notice the roses when the imperial prosecutor goes to the grotto. And Our Lady can do whatever God allows her to. God's timing is not our timing.
Lourdes story is so well known and wonderful..but i ask you now to turn your attention to OUR LADY OF MEDUGORJE, QUEEN OF PEACE..WHILE SHE IS STILL APPEARING TO US...this to is being dismissed by the local bishop the way lourdes was..i cant wait for it to be authenticated..god bless
I agree. It truly was a miracle by God that the child survived. I truly believe that God granted that miracle because the child's mother's faith was so strong. It was beautiful.
I know. I cry every time I see it. It's so moving.
My younger sister was named after Bernadette, after my family watched this scene. My older sister was so happy when she saw this scene (she was very young) that she screamed.
Didn't anyone catch the fact that the "lady" didn't perform the requested sign of the roses? Maybe she couldn't?

The woman playing the mother is PERFECT. She should have gotten an award, too. A performance that knocks you flat.

Her award was to play the role of the mother of Bernadette, greater than any award !

Miracles happen every day. Even though I am not Catholic, I believe something wonderful is happening with all of us.
