Can't get the 12.2's down to 1 ohm Only 0.5 Ohms, 2 Ohms and 8 Ohms. However if you get the 12.4, those can be wired down to 1 Ohm..

the reason people say this is not the problem wit power its people i am guessing like you that turn the amp all the way up This clips the signal when clipping the signal the subwoofer can not function properly in which causes increase in heat and soon failure of coil. Peak means nothing when picking your subwoofer rms is everything If you pick a sub that takes 2000 rms and a amp that does 2000peak your fucked cuz your not gettin a constant 2000 watts. more than likey your clippin the signal

actually the amps is going to push what it is stated at at the specified ohms connection turning the db is just a frequency change it should all be controled with the deck you are using and or a remote knob u should never have to be going back and forth from the amp itself

Yo, out of all da peep on here wit HCCA vids, I think your system is the best sounding.... But I have a question, When hooking up the HCCA DVC speaker to a D5000 Monoblock, do you hook each Voice Coil to the two different speaker terminals? Or 1 speaker terminal ( - an + ) to one Voice coil which wraps around to the other voice coil?

parallel wiring, pos and pos to positive terminal and neg and neg to negative terminal. i believe that will give you a 2ohm load. but that depends on the sub if its a 2 or a 4 ohm.

hello i wanted to ask you what kind of amp do you have because i just baught 2 10" DD's and a 15" HCCA so i can put them in my titan but i just have the amp for the dd's and i dont know what to get for the hcca. should i get the HCCA 5000 watt amp of a hifonics brotus of 2500watts. or any other idea i could use that wont cost me alot! please help i would apretiate it. thanks

alright thanks guys. because someone at a shop told me that i should but the jl audio 1000/1 for it and i would be pushing it good. so my best option is the orion? ok well please give me advice on this one look it the fosgate T4000, MTX 4001, orion hcca 5000, hifonics 3200, or the jl audio 1000/1.

don't waste a good amount of money on jl products you can get amps 3x better. get sundown audio zaz3000 or the kicker zx2500 are tough and reliable amps, or massive audio p1500 or p3000.

ok yo how many damn subs you getting and oh those dd's should be loud as hell. and you definatley dont need a hcca 15" in a titan cos with the 2 tens you wont even be able to hear the highs and like i told you before get the jl 1000/v2 trust me it peaks at like 4000 watts i think maybe a lil more so it will be costly but it can run two of those 15"s

i have 2 10" 2500 series dd's and hopefully i'll get the 2 15" but yea its already bin like 8 people who tell me that the jl 1000/1v2 is the best way to go and some other guy told me to get the hifonics colosus of the other one thats 5000 or 4000 watts. thanks though you really helped out.
