The problem that day was that she said she didn't expect the casket to be there. She thought it was a memorial, not a funeral. Plus they called her last minute, she accepted immediately though she had not rested and the time of the day was terrible for her voice. Plus they called her last minute, she accepted immediately though she had not rested and the time of the day was terrible for her voice. God bless her for being there and trying to sing live. and thank goodness trey pulled it together to sing and save the song...like he did in the original. i just love that they covered this song. so hard to sing at funerals...especially when it is so sudden and tragic like this. love the jennifer hudson performance best as a tribute. her whole family was murdered and she song her guts out. she is the best LIVE vocalist alive today. thanks MJ. memories are the best and you gave some of the best!
