i love the color! thinking about trying the ion high lift ash blonde. i tried the clairol professional liquicolor with soy4plex in ultra cool blonde blue-violet & it almost turned my hair DARK GREY. i know this stuff doesn't have blue or violet in it so i don't have to worry about my hair turning funky colors.

get joico kpax! keratin products they are amazing ur hair will be reversed in damage. the hair mask and shampoo and conditioner. u will be fine. the color on u is so cute! gunna get the toner u used love it! when u go to do ur roots do just ur roots! only tone ur hair one time a month try using a 30 volume or 20 even less damaging. the joico is expensive but ulta and other stores have liters on sale for 20 all the time and they last me a year. will reverse any thing bad u do to ur hair at all!

OMG....I bet your  hair fell out in like 2 months unless you put hair extensions in for your long locks.... what a waste of beautiful long hair... I bet you had to cut it short afterwards because your hair got majorly damaged because of the bleach...

@sxystar41 Thats not necessarily true, It depends on the person. If you use loads of heat on you're hair, live somewhere its gonna get dried out alot and you dont use a good conditioner then yeah maybe.. But it depends on how well you look after you're hair. I've dyed and bleached mine so many times i cant even remember! And my hair has never fallen out or snapped off, its still long to this day and I get compliments all the time on the condition its in, just depends on how well you treat it!

hiii i love your colour!! but ur right bleach is sooo damaging... going from asian black to platium blonde is very hard but i found going to medium blonde to be less harsh on the hair. i used ultimate lightener L1++ from schwartzkopf and then same brand napro palette medium toffee blonde. it looks really natural and will not damage your hair much. :) xoxo

exotic! this look is hard to pull off considering how brassy naturally dark hair can look during the process of bleaching, but you did a good job. :) i'm asian, currently sporting an ashy blonde and I love it - don't listen to the negative comments! Platinum blonde isn't supposed to look natural on darker skinned individuals. It's a statement, and you wear it well. :)

Yeah, bleach damages hair. If you're going from a dark color to blonde, it requires quite a bit of upkeep for your hair to remain healthy. Trust when I say I know. My natural hair color is literally black. It's possible though. It just requires research and the investment into the right products.

@krazycutekid16 do whatever you think suits you best. bleach really damages your hair so make sure you commit to taking good care of you hair if you do it by yourself.. check the info box below my vid, you could start of small by just changing the shades gradually with box dyes that don't contain bleach. good luck with your hair! i think you could look really nice :)

Don't worry! even though bleaching your hair is very harsh on the hair, it can alway grow back, and there are way to protect and strengthen the hair that has been weakened because of the bleach. Make sure you deep condition, and wash your hair like once or twice a week only. I hope everything goes well!!

im afraid that if i buy a really light blonde dye, just from the box, like no bleach, it might turn my hair too blonde! lol its reddy/dark brown at the minute :S but will it really only lighten to golden browny blonde if i use a light blonde dye? :)

@ainellen lighter box dyes just lightened my hair. it definitely could never get really light blonde. just light browny/orangey looking. but if your hair is dark like mine, it shouldn't turn too light! if you see i did a video with box dye, it didn't look close to the color on the box lol.

You look fantastic with light ash blonde hair. We can't see much in that video, but it seems that you lightened enough - That's key. Do not color it again for a few weeks, then just bleach your roots and tone with a toner (NOT color) using 10 volume developer only-- that will be the easiest on your hair. Go to Candeelion's channel for fantastic conditioner suggestions. Be sure to have a neat friend carefully bleach your roots and avoid rebleaching areas of the hair which are already pale yellow.
