Are you completely ignorant of the fact that Verbal (the frontman of m-flo) raps in EVERY SINGLE song? Also, they are not a Korean music group. Verbal might be of Korean decent, but he was born and raised in Japan. Taku is pure Japanese, and so is Lisa.

As much as I love and enjoy listening to m-flo right now. This is when they were most original....... During the time Verbal really used to rip it up on the mic with his metaphorical style. Now it just sounds like everything else. Either way this is true hip-hop.

At the time of this song, no, but now yeah. But m-flo is not a good representation of Mainstream Japanese music. I guess it would be like hearing outkast and thinking all rap music sounds like that.

Thats a shame really. The two Japanese artists I listen to (Dragon Ash and M-Flo) have really jazzy and groovy beats. Shame its not a representation.

The thing that your missing is that they actually cultivated the J-pop with the beats, lyrics (Sometimes), Collaborations...that didn't change until...lisa left.

M-flo is a good representation because they were able to reach out to NEW ARTISTS & OTHERS THAT wanted to be/or have already been in J-pop. KATO, RYOHEI, MELODY, BoA, DOPPING PANDA, ect.

They created bridges. And the J-pop artists wanted to work with them*

So...that's what i feel.

They were known to create not copy.
