  • Another way to loosen a stuck bolt is to try to tighten it a little the loosen up...

  • Was it the bearing or the brushes... Those are cheap... Like $25, and a new motor $200+... You look like you have enough tools to take apart that old motor, nuggets be a good idea to open it up and look inside to see what the issue might have been so next time you save some green backs lol

  • Very nice motor, much better than the one that came on it! I always replace motors I have to with ones that are rated for continuous duty cycle, which it appears you do too from the tag I saw. Its worth the extra cost IMHO

  • Looking forward to your air hose routing video you referred to in this vid. Interested in what you are using as that is my next garage project. Keep them coming. Best wishes.

  • Your brain is your safety cage! Love It! A long time ago I had a customer buy a electric dryer from me. He said he'd take care of the install. No problem we loaded him up. Well, he forgot to unplug the pigtail before disconnecting it from the old dryer. Epic 'Safety Cage Failure.' It was lights out for him and a lawyer probably got a new warning label to come up with!

  • you should do some new vids with your hoe

  • Cody. wen we put pulley& keyway back on shaft we use anti-seize compound paste. Makes it a breeze egtting back off again. You must trust Baldor motors, we have them here in NZ too on all our American Ward RDC Printing Machines so im familiar with them

  • Did you try swapping the 240 polarity on the original motor?

I had the same problem with my IR compressor when I bought it it was hooked up wrong

And the motor would barly spin and made strange noises very similar to your original motor

Swapped the 240 polarity runs like a champ! Either way glad to see you got it running!
