I know people keep making excuses for fabor about his hand ,,but i dont view it as a excuse... i view it as something thats true..not false...Think of it this way....if Faber gave Brown such a challenge in over 3 rounds with a broken hand....takedown..elbows...etc.. and at the same time feeling so much pain everytime he does blows.imagine how much of a challenge it would hav been if he was at his best... it was just unfortunate..Mike Brown is still a very good fighter but faber i think is beta.

it take's a lot to break a hand but it takes an even stronger opponent to withstand the punch that broke the hand. I know from experience what a persons face looks like after a hand was broken on it. Urijah gave it his all and even to the point of breaking his bones trying but his best was just not good enough. I still respect the former champ Urijah for giving it his best. Mike is just a better fighter. Congratulations Mike Brown.

Faber probably would have won by TKO in the first 3 rounds, and almost certainly would have won by submission in the 5th if his hands were working. We will see this fight again, besides also and maybe fabiano these guys have no one to fight but each other. definitely the best two feathers in america

in all honesty, i know broken hand(fight2) or "gotlucky" (fight 1) are all excuses. but lets think about this for a second. faber broke his hand in the first round off of a punch to the forehead of brown...he even said it in his interview or when they mic'ed up his corner he said it that he had broken his hand, even so...brown could not put him down. That to me is a real winner no matter how you look at it. The kid went 4.5 rounds with a broken hand and it still had to end in a decision.

to complete my comment, i still think faber is a better fighter because if brown, who was healthy, couldnt finish faber who was disabled...i think thats just as much proof as you need to say faber was better. I'm not denying the loss, Brown is a great fighter and is the champion...obviously you have to be good enough to pull that off so im not taking anything away from the man. But come on, 4.5 rounds with a broken hand and you cant even take advantage of that?

Mike Brown beat Urijah Faber TWICE fair and square...Mike Brown is stronger and obviously the better fighter. Yesterday i learned Urijah is weak, at the end of the fight he was whining like a baby about his hand, a real man knows not to show any pain. Mike Brown is bigger and badder, he won twice and its not because of bullshit. thats why hes the world champ. and to top it off, he beat Urijah at his home town, so a hole stadium was booing at him, but that didnt stop him.
