I have the original 45 of Ciao Turin (1040's?). It's by Gianni ARmano e il suo complesso, sung by Carlo Pierangeli (also has Sciass, Sciass" and La Monferrina). I'm trying to find it on CD or even MP3. It was my father's favourite, and he's not going to be around much longer.
I've pretty much given up hope that I'll actually find it in time, but thank you for this little reminder that the song isn't lost forever. It means a lot.

So bene dei Radio Boys perchè conosco Cosimo Gilè che faceva parte del gruppo.

The original version, as far as I know, was sung by a band named Radio Boys in 1947.
