Texting is disaster!

When you receive text if thext is too big to fit to te screen there is no way to see al text except if you reply and then minimize keyboard. I think this is big flaw in design. As well when replying, text line is 1 row only and it is difficult to see anything.

ONe thing about these phones is they dont cater to women with fingernails! I love this phone but because I have fingernails I cant use it as it will only recognize your 'finger pads' I have the old i-mate jamin touchscreen with the stylus so it recognizes my nails and is great!! Does anyone else have this issue, or am I wrong about this phone?

The phone does come with a stylus, so chances are you'll be able to use it. I don't know if the "touchflo" would work with fingernails though...but you could always adjust your fingers a bit so you can slide it =)

As far as I know this phone features a resistive (pressure) style touchscreen, not a conductive type of touchscreen, hence using your nails is no problem at all (indeed the stylus usually gives it away).

it is not about recognizing ur nails or not. capacitive senses ur finger by electrical current runing through this thin double layer screen. avoid capactive touchscreen because ur fingernail doesnt conduct electricity but ur skin does and use either a pressure sensitive (works with pressure = push on screen, which the jamin has) or optical touchscreen (which so far only neonde hv on their phones. u can use stylus as well).

HTC sexin' up the the smartphone interface in a style that Micro$oft should've done ages ago. Now with the option for TouchFLO & the traditional interface, the smartphone will appeal to a wider audiance of tech-freaks as well as the "point-&-click-merchant".

The HTC Raphael is rumoured to the same beast but with an added keyboard.

With a hardware spec' like this, it should be the daddy on the smartphone block for a while.
