Thats Real Stereotypical man just because he has tear drop tattoo's you automatically assume he's in a gang the tear drop tattoo's symbolizes his pains and struggles he went through after losing his father that should have been pretty simple to realize.
When I saw this the first time during College Gameday for the UT-Memphis game, this really did bring some tears to my eyes. It was so emotional ,and I'm glad this piece showed what kind of a person Bruce Pearl really is. People think he's loud and crazy ,but deep down he has a big heart. Bruce Pearl is just an emotional man ,and he's the first coach I would play for.
What great young man Tyler is, I really thank coach Pearl for bringing Tyler back to Tennessee now that Tyler is with the big orange he has a chance to do some remarkable things like winning a national championship, hope that the vols can go to the national championship! Go Vols!
What a moving story about Tyler! I'm glad that ESPN did this story. It was a great piece. Coach Pearl is such a class act. It spoke volumes when he brought the entire team to Mr. Smith's funeral. He geniunely cares about his players. I'm sure Mr. Smith is watching Tyler from up above and he knows that his son is in good hands. Best of luck to Tyler. He seems like a great young man!
ESPN did a great job on this story. I remember Billy from when I was a young man growing up in Pulaski and he was a great guy. I know he is watching down with a big smile on his face, knowing he left Tyler in good hands. After seeing Tyler play wearing black and gold (GCHS), I knew he would do good wearing the Big Orange. Tyler keep up the good work and send me some tickets up here to Louisville. :-)
This is a great story. Tyler is a wonderful guy...his dad was also. I am from Pulaski and was on his dad's AAU basketball team the year he found out he had cancer. I was also at his funeral...and the whole team really was there. The whole city of Pulaski was there. There was a warm feeling in the building that day. Billy was a great man.
watch Tyler play at our school. Now I go to UT and love the game. I went crazy when I found out that Tyler was transferring. What a great video. Go Vols.
emotional piece, seeing Pearl cry and the Tennessee tattoo on Tyler's stomach, I admit it made me shed a tear. BOL Tyler, your Dad would be so proud to see you carry on with class and heart, a hard task for anyone no doubt.
this is a great video. im so glad they took the time to show this story and tell a little about tyler. i went to school with him at giles county he is such a good ball player..and a better person..
