I agree, but have in mind that there is a really nice compressor on his microphone chanel and you can clearly hear it. Many singers don't have that privilege, so they sound less convincing eventhough they sing really good live. Of course, this guy also sings kickass :) and that's called magic altogether!

He isn't "better" than Pink Floyd or Led Zep. I love all three don't get me wrong, but it really is up to personal taste. You can't say one Guitarist is better than another when they get to this kind of level. I bet that Mayer, Gilmour and Page would tell you that.
