A company that receives subsidies from the federal government should not be allowed to donate to any political party or group. That's the best way to take the criminality out of lobbying. It's not illegal to do so now but it's certainly unethical and should be illegal. We also need much harsher criminal penalties, both fines and jail time, for white collar crime. These are changes that would do some good.

We were there today! Drove from Gvl, SC to hear him speak with other Obama volunteers from Gvl, SC. There were estimated to be 20,000+ in attendance. The lines were more than 9 blocks long just at one entrance! We got see him from about 10ft away when they were leaving in the motorcade. He waved at us!! I will post video later of 13 year old going crazy after he did that. We arrived 2hrs early and still didn't make it in before he spoke. So I'm wanting to drive anywhere to hear him speak

I was there... kinda. The line to get into the rally was literally a mile long. By the time he spoke, we realized that there was no way we were getting in, so we walked around the side of the enclosed area. We could hear him, just couldn't actually see the stage. Either way, it was a great experience. There were so many people; I don't think anyone expected that kind of turnout.
