i don't understand what they are saying, but i did understand the woman, she said helicopter, i'm thinking she said to a surviver the helicopter will come and the surviver died in the life boat?

MV Estonia disaster did not clam lives of an adult's, but children's and teenager's as well. Family's with baby's and small children, didn't not survive, they stay on ship until it goes down in bottom of Baltic sea, becouse it is very difficult to escape sinking ship with family members, how can't swim or can hold on in freezing water.

Most of the people that survived were strong, most of them male, and no child under twelve survived. I think it was easiest to make it if you were alone and had only yourself to look after.

@janeck123 Apparently, the person in the pictures is estonian Janne Aser, him along with Mikael Oun, the person who took the picture, survived.

i think this is a flashed waterdrop what you tought was aship,picture is taken from the outside ,that means the water lightning effect is more possible that a light of a ship

Yes from one of the survivors. He did not even know that there was anyone sitting there.

He tryed to signal fore help with the flash on the camera.
