This song is part of a beautiful album which was given to my family during a time of loss and this music was a tremendous comfort to me at the time and still is whenever I hear it. Paul is inspired by God to write his music. it is amazing.
Aww I accidentally pressed Dislike. I didn't mean it! This is so beautiful. It just makes me feel so much better after a stressful day. As if everything is going to be ok.
Lol found this on Juno Reactor Radio station from Pandora and liked it so much I didn't even care it wasn't a related genre to "Juno Reactor"! This song is great.
Thank you for this. It is a truly beautiful song. I'd like to comment on the quotation you have added as a caption for the video. It's lovely, but unfinished. It ends with: "And that would be strange indeed; unless of course the fish were destined to become, one day, a land animal." I think that really transforms the meaning...we're meant to be timeless. Perhaps you could considering adding it to the caption? Otherwise, thank you for this beautiful song!
@arborealwisdom I had forgotten about that last part. I think I originally left it out because, although I agree with the sentiment that we are destined to be "timeless," I do not agree with the idea that a fish could ever become a land animal through natural processes. However, so as not to take the quote out of context, I have removed it as the caption. Thank you for pointing it out. I appreciate your attentiveness.
Such a beautiful arrangement. The main theme is so dark and mysterious...perfect for a Tim Burton movie..too bad he already has Danny Elfman. Fantastic!
This song is beautiful! I heard it several months ago on Pandora, and stupidly forgot to bookmark it for future reference... This past week, it suddenly began playing through my head for days on end, and I tried in vain to remember the title/artist...
Fast forward to today: I was rushing back & forth at my library job, helping patrons etc. As I stepped into the rear office, "Time" was playing on my coworker's Pandora station!! I almost hugged her, I was *so* relieved to finally learn the info f
That's one of my favorite quotes from CS Lewis... and it's absolutely perfect for this song-- not only because it has to do with time. This song elicits the Joy, the desire, that Lewis often wrote about, and that quote was part of a larger quote, where he was talking about the object of that desire- eternity! We weren't made to live in time, but to live in eternity with God!
i rarely look up classical pieces on pandora when i listen to it because much of it sounds the same (which isn't a bad thing). this is that rare case where i stop my homework and look this up immediately.
Paul Cardell is a master at capturing specific emotions and ideas in his music. I think each of us can close our eyes when we listen to this and see *some* kind of specific image, even if each of us has a different one. That's talented music writing.
I imagine Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII listening to this song while researching about the Immortals in his keep for a whole year.

Please tell me someone else noticed the voices. If you listen carefully, there are muted voices in the background.
