I really do wish they were more widely available, and with a lower price. Those are the only thing worng with it really I played one at a show not long ago, and it was just amazing. They're not joking it being comfy, it genuinely is. I noodled on that for about 20 mintues before I had to give it back.
I think if they moved the manufacture to somewhere liken Germany or Korea, it may make it easier to get hold of, and be more of a success.
They should just bring back the Ultrasonic, Phantom and Cheetah...all the classic 60's stuff. It would probably outsell these guitars. Most players and collectors think of Vox and think of the classics, not something they are unfamiliar with like these guitars.
Guitars like the ultrasonic were ahead of their time back then...and kind of still are now. If I had the choice between a classic or this I would go with the classic. I can't identify with this style of guitar and wouldn't think of it being a Vox if it didn't have the name on the headstock.
i agree. who can afford a £2000 guitar (whatever that is in dollars....) i wish they would just make the ultrasonic and have the on-board bright switch and crappy distortion. i'd keep the bolt on neck too. I dont want a super sustaining guitar that every company seems to make. Those harmony reissues look pretty good but i can get hold of one.
I am disappointed that pg didn't have any videos covering the new Vox amps. The night train and ac4tv seem killer. Can you guys get some coverage? Please. =)
These are just awesome!! They got tone, they got style, they are from a great company with a great tradition and they are forward looking. I need to get one!

thats exactly what they should do. i love the ultrasonic. they could make it without the built in fx and it would be affordable, maybe

I was so excited to see the Harmony reissues! That is a a good example of a company in touch with their identity...unlike the new Vox stuff.
