Thanks for linking to my video! Sshe did sing in this movie, Woddy Allen said 'You're so horrible, you can't sing" to her which scarred her! And she took her fears to the set on the day she had to sing in Lucky You for the first time: "I burst into tears because I was so convinced it was going to be the Woody Allen all over again." she told in a interview, he dubbed her voice, only one in the movie!

Oh that must have been depressing for Drew... I'm glad she eventually found confidence to sing herself in Lucky You :) Allen probably wanted some classic sounding voice for the part. I hope Drew does more of her own singing in future movies - I can't wait to see the new directions in her career after her latest brilliant performance in Grey Gardens.

Actually it is a known fact that she learned to sing for Music & Lyrics, before that every singing part she had was lipsynced from another voice including this film Everyone Says I Love You, she was the only actress that convinced Woody Allen that she did not want to sing.

Actually she didnt want to sing. Allen didnt tell hetr it was a musical then when she found she said she cant sing so she had to get her voice dubbed

The reason she was not the one singing for the role was that woody allen felt her voice was not "right" for the charactewr she was playing (too deep if I remember correctly)

according to a friend, she is only one of two cast members who didn't sing for the movie. either way, this is a wonderful film.
