The location of the Bismarck is known and video footage of the sunken ship indicates she was scuttled rather than sunk by the British. The effect is the same, she went down with significant loss of life. This is a great song and a good video. Thank you!
that could be so, i am Not an Expert of the '' Battle of KMS Bismarck''. but i beleive that it was a Torpedo that Hit Her Rudder and causing it to Jam to North-East.
@spld1996 I just read "I sank the Bismarck" by Lt Cdr. John Moffat a Scotsman who joined the Royal Navy to fly aircraft in combat. In it he recalls the mission and after several enquiries, it concludes that it could have been one of a few that launched the torpedo that hit Bismarcks rudder. But he does say that it's readily accepted that it was him. It's a great book and definitely worth a read.
Very Intresting ! looks like a Must-have as a Historian. I'm Currently ocupied with a Book of F.J.Demmer, member of KampfGruppe Peiper during the Battle of the Bulge.
No one sunk the DKM Bismark, it was scuttled.
