@MrDyl7 I'm surprised that you don't understand one of the first lessons giving to a musician of any kind. To play music that you enjoy playing, the basic foundation to find pleasure in doing what your doing is to play songs of bands to whom one finds pleasing. Yes, it's good to learn new techniques/skills to improve one's ability, but to get you to that point, playing songs from favorite bands is the key to achieving that.

u have to be careful jadon, a lot of people grow up only being able to play songs and not actually being able to play the drums or even knowing simple rudiments or notation or anything. just be aware of that, cuz i know a lot of people that have played for much longer a time span than me and yet I'm a lot better than them, and thats only because i didn't learn to play drums by playing songs. just a little advice, hope it helps

Pretty accurate cover, but there are very few covers (if any) out there that don't have sloppy-ish intro's.

If you can I'd recommend moving your cymbals closer, you are reaching for them, which shouldn't happen. Once you start playing faster beats you should be able to just flip the shoulder of your stick to hit the crash, and with this setup it's nearly impossible, playing was pretty good though, although weird placement for your ride (Seems like a China should go there with this type of setup.)
