You're amazing. I just got a cajon and you're an inspiration. I've spent time watching most of your videos to try to learn technique from you. Thanks. Mark.
Nice jam with the uke, too.Used to be my instrument of choice. Makes me want to try a cajon box! I play harmonica, djembe and congas. Also zen drums for the past year, mostly Spike Finch steelies, sometimes drums of my own making. I do alot of solo new age stuff on the zens, but also like to break out with fun habenero hand jive improvs. I like to tweak the scales with movable interior magnets to produce unique sounds. Especially fond of surreal percussive accompaniments to films. J.
@DoWrite Thanks John, glad you enjoyed it! So I had no prior practice on this specific track (just listened to it once on a friend's tango playlist and decided to try jamming along), but lots of practice on the instrument; I started playing cajon 2 years ago and I've been playing some form of percussion for the better part of 15 years! Cheers, -Hicham
Great. I like your cajon playing. You can check also my videos where the cajon was played together with an electric wireless ukulele and the acoustic guitar.

Well done! You have deft hands and flawless rhythm. Wonderful jam with the recording. How much practice to get it so right? John
