How strange it is seeing the Trafford Centre as one big shell in its construction days. Apparently the new management are planning to expand and I have one request: bring back Festival Village!
I use to watch Granada Reports telling us how controversial the building of the Centre was back then. The area was called Dumplington, not such a great name !
I wasent even alive when this was filmed, I luv goin to the TC and I miss the festival village and the funny MC Donalds that used to be there as well.
@TheOblivionGirl I wouldn't go that far, its certainly unique though. When you go there again knock on one of the pillars. You think its marble but its just PVC wood. Cheapens it somewhat.
