  • Great job on this. Good base line and pace - and the guitar sounds nice too.

  • That was really nice!

Try more cyrcle motion with the thumb and let your nails grow longer.

  • Absolutely beautiful! Wish someone would break it down in slow, easy steps so I can advance beyond what I can do now!

  • beatiful!!

would you put here some link where appear the part. of Bouree in Em

    thanks!

  • That done so well! I wish I'd had or made the time to really learn to read and play classical like that. Bravo!

  • Thanks, computerwisperer! Yes, the time is always difficult to allot. I wish I had more!

  • Nice job Tuffy.

What tuning are you in? I'm too lazy to check myself! :-)

  • Thanks, overseez. Standard tuning. It's in Em.

  • ahh yes....my musical nenesis...and you play it beautifuly

  • Thanks a lot, puddler77! Of the pieces I've posted, it's probably the most challenging one for me too. Keep at it!

    Cheers,

    Chris

  • Bravo!! First of all, I'll say that you played this very musically, not like a studied, memorized technical piece that so many guitarists make it sound. I commented on your "El Noi de la Mare." You know, since that posting your playing seems a bit more confident, my friend. You're starting to make me feel pangs of guilt for not practicing, myself!

  • Thanks a lot, tyoonz! I take those as very high compliments! It's very encouraging to hear someone say that practice pays off. Progress feels so slow when one practices. And don't feel guilt... practice! :)

  • that's a very difficult piece in my opinion and you played it very good! i liked it! 5 stars!

    Liran

  • Thanks a lot, Liran!

  • Hey there Chris, Great display of superior counterpoint technique! Most impressive, the only constructive criticism I have is let us see your handsome face! :-) Regards, GR

  • Ha! Thanks, GR. But the guitar is better looking than I am!

  • VERY smooth for someone that plays guitar for only 5 years!

  • Thanks, Acoustix77. Yes, I have been playing classical for about 4-5 years. But, to be honest, I noodled around on electric for about 10 years before that. just enough to learn a bunch of terrible habits!

  • Hello Chris!

Are you teaching... Language or Guitar in S. Korea? You better tell us the truth!

    Very impressive, Chris! More!

    Take care,

    Julie

  • Thanks, Julie. Yes, language! You are very kind! The only thing I could teach about guitar is how much I do not know. :)

    -Chris

  • really sounds nice!

  • Thanks a lot, Jesse!

  • Hello Chris! Nice one! I really like this melody. I'm working on Sarabande and Double at the moment. Did you play this from the Frederick Noad book?

    Have a nice weekend!

    Jolina

  • Thanks, Jolina. This is the version from the Parkening method book, minus the trill in measure 15(my pinky doesn't want to trill yet...maybe someday. Keep practiSing, Chris!). I can't wait to hear your posts from the suite! Have a nice weekend yourself!
