They don't have chance to tell what they think about Belarus. Does France need to sing about how amazing their country is? UK? New Zealand? @susetela Why not? For Belarus this is a song about their homeland, while for others a song about another interesting country like for tourists. Belarus is not my native land but it does not stop me as here, and other comments by sitizens of Finland, Germany, Europe and even the whole world-they sing too along- "I love Belarus"- As an example of what can be sung on the motherland-fatherland replacing the word on the homeland, or if suitable rhyme I Love USA,Germany,Canada...
