You know, I just realized something. The way Eddie shows up reminds me of Bro' Man from "Martin" (Martin Laurence's sitcom from the early 90's). In the show, Bro' Man would just randomly show up at Martin's apartment. One episode, there was a blizzard and Martin and friends got to the apartment and Bro' Man was in there, making a sandwich.

Mega Man: Eddie? How did you get in here?! There were guards all over!

Eddie: Through the window over there, Bro'. Ain't no guards there.

One of the darker theories out there is that 'Mr. X' was a real person and billionaire whom Wily killed for his vast fortune to fund his various schemes (and construction of those goddamned fortresses), then took the guise of in 6 for his own purposes.

You would think that after Mega Man 4 with Dr. Cossack and then Mega Man 5 with Protoman being framed by Dr. Wily that by Mega Man 6 you would know that Dr. Wily is behind Mr. X. Its like Capcom come up with something original and then they frame Dr. Light in Mega Man 9.

i think wily kept the disguise to surprise megaman , because at the end of mr.x's castle megaman jumps back in surprise which gave wily enough time to escape

I like that Wily's castle is built in a Japanese style. That to me is a genuine Rockman level (since Rockman is Megaman's Japanese equivalent). As for where Wily gets the parts to build his robots: I don't know either. Probably an evil website called eVile or something.
