Well, I need help. I really feel like going back to the classics, and feel like playing pokemon...

I need help on deciding which gameboy to get; the Original Gameboy, or Gameboy Color (Especially since pokemon games are spread out onto certain platforms)? I really feel like playing the old pokemon games, such as Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, Crystal, etc.

@didayone i was debating and i just bought a gameboy color. I found my old yello blue and crystal, but all of the save batteries are dead.. Theyre easy to replace though. Just throwing that our there. and if you look on youtube they say you need to put new wires in, no you dont. just carefully pull off the flat metal strip on top and tape it back on when your done... took me like 10 minutes for each one. The battery is only 4 USD. you need a CR2025 battery.. Have fun

@didayone Game Boy Advance SP. Runs all of them nicely, you have more settings with that one, it can be re-charged, has a battery of almost 10 hours (I think) and has its own lighting. Btw, don't buy it if you have something like a PSP since you can emulate all of them with it and it has many other advantages

If you don't want to worry about having to wait ages till you fight that kid, instead of flying from the guy that this person flew away from, do the same thing INSTEAD with the kid near the grass peir to the left of the bridge instead, (abbra, teleport) and then go to the kid, battle him, then teleport again back to the poke centre and head up towards the top of the bridge, your menu comes up, press b and you're fighting mew.. much better if you want to do it earlier =]

Gold and Silver no. The best way to do this is with the trainer in the grass by the bridge. Fight the guy with slowpoke useing a pokemon that knows growl. Keep using growl on slowpoke until it has no effect. Then kill his ass! After defeating Jr. Trainer (Instead of flying elsewhere) start walking back to the bridge. Pause will come up on it's own. Push B and you WILL get a level ONE Mew!!!! If a pokemon is caught at a low level and leveled up to 100 it will stronger than average!

when you walk into the area that the guy will notice you. Then fly away and he will finish noticing you as you leave. Once you re-enter the area the battle resumes, but the battle index is lost so it takes you to the first battle available which is against mew.

Easier method, when you get past mt moon, go through nugget bridge and work your way to bill, rescue bill and get the ss ticket. head to the exit of the town through the house in the top right, then catch abra in the grass above the pokemon trainer.

once caught, go back up and use the poke centre. then head up nugget bridge, step to the left until you are opposite the grass and save (incase of failure). step down til the man in the grass see's you 5 steps away, pause, teleport, then fight the m

@ZetaSupermassive you have to go to curelean city and go behind the house that got robbed. then you go maybe half way down that trail and there will be a trail going right and go in there then there will be a small tree. cut it then go through and go into rock cave or tunnel whatever it is. it will take you to lavender town. in lavender town at the very left of it is a trail at the end will be 2 buildings go to the underground trail one. it takes you tou another city celadon i think keep going

Some people give you gengar, tentacool, slowbro, and a bunch of others. You can get a second mew by doing this glitch with the man in the water to the right in Misty's gym.

The video is real. Both Blastoise and Venusaur can be caught using the Mew glitch. That's why their levels are lower than normal and so on. You don't have to have a Gameshark or anything else that is special to activate it. I do have to say that using Tackle instead of Vine Whip to take out the Slowpoke only made to video longer.

2. Glitch: "a defect or malfunction in a machine or plan". Fits the technical term.

3. It's a legitimate glitch. So he didn't feel like grinding his way to that point, big whoop. Your logic is: because you use glasses to see and hit a home run, you can't call it a home run because it would have been more difficult to hit it without the glasses.

Just accept you're wrong and move on.

number one reason why this is fake. Notice when he fights the slowpoke with his venusaur. he swaps out to blastoise. This is pokemon blue. so its impossible to catch them both in the same game unless you trade. However, look at the exp points gained. when you trade a pokemon, it gets boosted exp. both however... did not get boosted exp. Which leaves me to believe that this individual is cheating.

I also found another way to get Mew. Im not sure if I am the only one to know this, but you find that trainer at the route above Cerulean, Then use teleport when you see the trainer. Go into Cerulean Gym, and face that Swimmer. Then leave the gym and teleport again. Then go up, the start menu will show, and click B, and Mew will appear. Just thought I'd pass this on

Then I think I fought with some trainer in the Gym (since I hadn't even gone into the gym yet by this point) and walked up to the bridge, upon stepping onto the bridge I got a text of the Team Rocket member who was trying to recruit you after the bridge battle asking me to join Team Rocket, I pressed 'B' to get out of it and my battle with Mew started...it was weird...I'm pretty sure I did some steps wrong but it worked anyway, I've got the Mew on my Red version as proof

You actually don't need those particular trainers to get it to work, I got a Mew on my Red version using just one of the trainers north of the bridge- can't remember exactly what I did but I used an Abra to teleport back to Celedon after I finally managed to press the dang Start button fast enough to escape the '!'- to be continued in the next comment

i did it the other way when you teleport away from a guy nxt to the nugget bridge. this allows you to catch mew alot earlier, as all u need is an abra. while fly is alot further into the game
