Xbox 360 case mod/ Cooling

I took apart my xbox360 case and painted it but on the 1 case with the metal stuff under it, can you take that off and then use plexiglass on it or will the case not work?

just pull the metal shield off, no real use for it and u have to if ur cutting and putting plexi in it.

just get a bad ass pc man. Res on this things are bad. I know cause I have both ps3 and 360 and they get nowhere near where I go with my pc. You cant beat a pc with a 5870 XXX and a 965 clocked at 4.00GHz and ram at 1600. This is a waste of time.

@teddanan that tool that he showed at the end of the vid, he custom cut that case, or chassi as u call it, he custom cut that and put in the plexi glass with that tool and hot glue. :D its fuckin badass :D

You know maybe you shouldn.t press your xbox all the way against the wall. The wall makes the hot air bounce back into the xbox, so if you cant move it forward, and add a small fan beside the xbox to blow air from the side, moving hot air away from the xbox.

fuck it, i cool modded my xbox and placed in right under the AC and didnt have any walls or anything close it and still got the E74, and there's no microsoft warranty in Egypt, so now I'll get my 3rd xbox

The reason you still got E74 is because the problem is actually when your xbox is cooling after you turn it off. The AC made the Xbox cool too quickly which made the bad solder points.

lol i know its to close to the wall But my 360 Never gets Hot.if i have the fans off it still doest get hot and i always have my Window AC on so its cold 90% of the time
