  • LMAO

  • Wow, that was indeed a tickle to my funny senses. Well, I was trying to post a longer comment; alas it was too long in words. Hope you're well. :)

  • That was fucking hilarious, thx

  • Yeah, that sums it up. That's christianity. : )

  • christian literalism(or just in the general sense), is absurd to everyone who hasn't been raised and indoctrinated by a fundamentalist family. This is only something you can believe at face value if it's been pounded into your head at birth(as was my experience), or maybe you've suffered a severe blow to your rational function of your brain... it's just ridiculous

  • 72 people just converted.

  • Comment removed

  • @ArtisanTony Keep trying what? Teaching you people how to think for yourselves?

  • Lol... you left out the part about the punishment for thought-crime: eternal torture.

  • Now I want ribs.

  • You've convinced me ... that you're an idiot.

  • @tracygonecrazy1

What aspect(s) of this video have caused you to conclude that?

  • @SecularAstronomer The part between 0:01 and 0:34 specifically convinced me..

  • @tracygonecrazy1

An articulated point is useful; a hidden one is useless. And an indefensible one is worse than useless. Your evasiveness speaks volumes.

  • @SecularAstronomer And this video speaks volumes also. It's proof that it's maker is an idiot. What further proof could be needed ? It speaks volumes, as you say.

  • @tracygonecrazy1

You are merely parroting me; and this is the second time you have provided subterfuge, rather than revealing the rationale for your claim. It seems you have none. This video shows that its maker is knowledgeable of common Christian theology, as this video is in accordance with it; and you tellingly haven't presented anything to show otherwise. Let's see if you respond with disclosure of your hypothetical rationale, or if you instead just continue to blow smoke.

  • @SecularAstronomer Um, No ... And I'll tell you why. Because I'm not stupid, and I know that whatever rational I provided, well reasoned or not, you would ridicule it out of hand, with complete and utter disregard for the content of the argument. You wouldn't even bother to consider any point that I made for a split second, or take any notion that I presented with the slightest grain of mockery free sincerity. In short, I distrust you, completely. So I choose to provide you with nothing.

  • @tracygonecrazy1

So you are insulting/belittling me because of how you assume I will respond? That is unfortunate, because you are dead wrong about me. You seem to have watched one video where I read a variation of an internet image (source in the description area), and have wrongly assumed that the tone/approach defines me as a person.

  • You don't have to trust me; just try it out, and watch how mockery/condescension-free my response will be. If anything, I usually respond in a dry, analytical manor. Clearly, my tone tends to change, when the only response I get is belittlement.

  • @SecularAstronomer But that's just the point I'm making. I just re-listened to this video. I don't even consider myself to be a 'religious' person in any way, but, I know enough about what other people think who are religious (because I have had many long conversations with them, even priests), that it is obvious to me that belittlement and condescension is exactly what it amounts to from end-to-end. It is a complete misrepresentation of everything any serious religious person actually thinks.

  • @SecularAstronomer I do not consider it my mission in life to convince anyone of anything, especially religion. But I have always been willing to be fair to the ideas and concepts of others. But I listen to this video, and to be honest, the very last thing that it does is leave me with the impression that it's maker has any interest whatsoever in being fair. This video is quite transparently a caricature of religious though, not a nonpartisan outlook at all.

  • @SecularAstronomer This is not an attempt to belittle you personally, it is just my opinion of what this video represents. If you really want to have a serious conversation about these issues then I would if you sent me a message off-comments (personal message). Otherwise I'll assume that you are not really interested which is ok with me. As I said, I have no interest in talking anyone into anything, people can believe what they wish to as far as I'm concerned.

  • Man eats biscuit then throws up human flesh.

  • And if you're so stupid that you use the sense that I gave you, I will burn you on the grill in my basement, Amen!

  • All hail the omnipotent Like button who hath commanded me to click it!

  • lol love it ; )

  • That's great, big thumbs up.

  • Sorry, crap video. Plagiarized from another erroneous video that says "symbolically eat his flesh". Right there the ignorance of the poster is illuminated.

Anyone who knew what they were talking about wouldn't use the word "symbolically".

    FAI...L FAIL FAIL

  • @PaleBlueDotCitizen

"Plagiarized from another erroneous video that says 'symbolically eat his flesh'."

If you had bothered to read the video description before posting, you would have seen the following statement: "I got this summary off an image I found on the internet."

This is the image in question:

    english(DOT)martinvarsavsky(DOT)net/christianity(DOT)jpg

  • "Anyone who knew what they were talking about wouldn't use the word 'symbolically'."

Now you are letting your ignorance of eucharistic theology show, PaleBlueDotCitizen. While transubstantiation, sacramental union, and others, are beliefs that do not involve symbolism in the eucharist, a common Protestant belief (memorialism) is that the bread and wine are in fact symbolic of Christ’s body and blood.

  • Regardless of whether the statement was phrased “symbolically eat his flesh (memorialism)” or “eat his flesh (transubstantiation, sacramental union),” there would still be portions of Christendom left out. But being a summery, that’s unavoidable.

  • This is actually one of the main reasons i converted. LOL True Story

  • Fantastic work of bigotry...

  • @dex1391

How does this video indicate that I’m “obstinately or intolerantly devoted to [my] own opinions and prejudices” and/or that I’m one who “regards or treats the members of a group with hatred and intolerance?”

And if this video doesn’t indicate as such, then it doesn’t meet the criteria necessary to be classified as bigotry. Now, if you’re using your own unique and nonstandard definition of bigotry then please provide it—then justify the claim that this video meets the criteria therein.

  • @SecularAstronomer

LOL I love it... It's like the KKK pretending not to be racist.

    big·ot /ˈbɪgət/ Show Spelled[big-uht] Show IPA

    –noun

a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion.

    You are a bigot...

The very first picture is bigoted... Don't pretend to be something you're not...

  • @dex1391

“LOL I love it... It's like the KKK pretending not to be racist.”

No, the KKK openly espouses beliefs that fit the definition of racism. I, on the other hand, explicitly espouse a lack of bigoted beliefs. Nice try, dex.

  • @SecularAstronomer

No... lol you do have bigoted beliefs... Which makes my comment correct. You hate Christians... why deny it. The KKK hates Jews and blacks.. They admit it at least...

I guess you're simply a hate group (similar to the KKK) that lies about it...

  • @dex1391

“No... lol you do have bigoted beliefs... Which makes my comment correct. You hate Christians... why deny it. The KKK hates Jews and blacks.. They admit it at least... I guess you're simply a hate group (similar to the KKK) that lies about it...”

XD I certainly don’t hate Christians. I sometimes even return to the church I grew up going to, just to be in the company of the people there. So, no; your comment is both incorrect and unjustified.

  • @SecularAstronomer

Of course you hate Christians... You've proven that with your video.. Don't lie about it.

  • I find it truly laughable how you jump to conclusions with so little information about me, my daily actions, and my mindset. Pretending to know what’s going on in my head better than I do is one of the most pitifully arrogant things one can do.

  • @SecularAstronomer

I need no more info... You posted a bigoted video...

If you walked around with a t-shirt that said "Nigger" on it...

I'd feel free assuming that you're a racist...

hate is hate and it's never pretty...

  • “a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion. You are a bigot... Don't pretend to be something you're not...”

I am not intolerant of Christians or Christianity. I make it clear in daily life that I wholly support the right of anyone to hold whatever worldview they wish. But if you wish to be foolish enough to obstinately think that a single video defines me, there is nothing I can do to rectify your folly.

  • @SecularAstronomer

Not only are you intolerant... You hate us...

You are a bigot.. why try and hide what you are?

    You are what you are...

If you created a KKK video talking about blacks being ... whatever..

Then you'd be a racist as well..

    Denying it doesn't change anything.

  • @dex1391

“Not only are you intolerant... You hate us... You are a bigot.. why try and hide what you are? You are what you are... Denying it doesn't change anything... ”

*refer to refutation of this repeated slander above*

  • “The very first picture is bigoted...”

A caricature of a historical figure (Jesus) embellished to reference a feat he was said to have accomplished (reanimation) and to relate that to a popular fictional form individual that has also accomplished said feat (the state of being a zombie) is not bigotry. And it was displayed to illustrate my sense of incredulity of the proposition that this actually occurred. Incredulity (or illustration there of) is not tantamount to bigotry. Again; nice try.

  • @SecularAstronomer

You're an idiot and a bigot..

You know very well that the first picture is both bigoted and offensive...

If I post a picture of your mother getting banged by a dog... would you like that?

    It's pretty similar.

But then again... We did have very racist drawings of blacks in the U.S. at one time as well.

You're just the next incarnation of bigotry.

    Feel proud...?

  • @dex1391

“You know very well that the first picture is both bigoted and offensive...”

I just explained what the picture was, what I intended by posting it, and how the image was not bigoted, and your response is to simply repeat that it is... Please think, rather than just dogmatically stick to your folly.

  • @SecularAstronomer

The image is extremely bigoted and offensive and you know it.

Allow me to explain... So that your thick headed bigotry can be exposed.

I'm not a Muslim. I don't agree with their belief system...

I WOULD NEVER POST A NEGATIVE PICTURE OF MOHAMMAD...

NEVER... If I did I would be a bigot. I love all of God's people...

If you don't agree with a belief system... Turn away from it... I don't post bigoted videos about how ignorant atheists are...

  • “If I post a picture of your mother getting banged by a dog... would you like that? It's pretty similar.”

Are you misunderstanding this simple concept on purpose? *sigh* Once again:

  • 1) No, I would not like that.

    2) It would not be a character of something she actually did (as the zombie drawing is a reference to the claimed genuine act of resurrection)

    3) It would not imply a regard of members of a group with hatred and intolerance, thus would—by definition—not be bigoted.

  • @SecularAstronomer I'm not trying to tell you what to do but please pay no mind to dex1391. Based on my experience of him he likes throwing the word bigot (and any form of this word) at anyone who doesn't agree with him (he used it on me recently when I expressed my dislike of Ann Coulter and the Conservatives in general oh and please note the video was an anti-Coulter video). He's nothing more than a troll. Oh and PS: I love the video! It's straight to the point and accurate!

  • @dex1391 For many a pic of mom & dog might be too stupid to be offensive, but I get your pt. But no, it isn't similar at all. If a person believes some unprovable, magical story that defies logic & science, which any sensible examination proves to be mythological, then it's open season. And it doesn't matter that it's been perpetuated for centuries, it's still baseless BS. People have the right to believe whatever they want, but they don't have the right not to be offended by others' reactions.

  • @fretbuzz59

I see... then you have no problem with me equating the atheist belief with retarded tailless monkeys...?

  • @dex1391 How could I be bothered by anything so foolish?

  • @fretbuzz59

    I suppose you're right...

Your idiotic and bigoted comparisons are just as foolish.

  • @dex1391 I didn't make comparisons; I DESCRIBED religious belief as silly mythology. If U can show why that's wrong, go ahead. Here's a comparison: if I said I believe in The Force, would you accept that? No. Why? B/c we know it's made up. Same w/religion. At this pt in our intellectual growth, we now know that god & religion were concepts developed by early man to cope w/his world & mortality. We now know that science is the path to address those issues. My bigotry is against willful ignorance.

  • @fretbuzz59

That's an idiotic and bigoted comparison. You can try to justify it but you'd be lying.

You have willful ignorance. We know that God is true. We know that He is out there and bigoted atheists like you will burn in hell forever. We know that you deserve it.

Science has proven the fairytale that is atheism as wrong.

  • @dex1391 Like I said, if you can demonstrate that my assertion is wrong, go right ahead.

As for burning in hell...at least it's a dry heat. lol

  • @fretbuzz59

I don't have to disprove fact. It's been proven. Science has shown that you'll burn in hell forever.

  • @dex1391 OK, now I know you're just a troll. There's a special place in hell for trolls.

  • @fretbuzz59

I've been saved... Good luck with your bigotry.

  • @dex1391 Thanks! May The Force be with you.

  • @fretbuzz59

    Good luck finding ice water...

  • @dex1391 Really not too worried about it...since I'll be DEAD.

  • @fretbuzz59

Dead... But your soul will be burning forever....

Hope your bigotry was worth it...

  • @dex1391 James Brown's soul will burn forever. Mine...not so much.

  • @fretbuzz59

    James Brown wasn't a bigot...

  • @dex1391 JB experienced real bigotry. OTOH, your beliefs cause you no hardship whatsoever. In fact, you're in the majority. So how about if you just quit your whining? Besides, if you're so confident that you're right, what I or anyone else says shouldn't affect you in the least. No one's keeping you from you beliefs. But no one's shielding you from criticism. Grow up.

  • @fretbuzz59

You're wrong... My beliefs have caused me problems. I've been the target of bigotry on more than one occasion. Don't pretend that you have any idea what my life has been like. You don't know me.

I don't have to put up with bigotry any more than a black person, handicapped, little person, or whatever...

  • @dex1391 Oh, woe is you. Good grief, what a whiner...get over yourself. A white Xtian has nothing to complain about. You've CHOSEN your beliefs. You're entitled to hold them, & entitled to freedom from discrimination based on them. But I'll bet your problems aren't due to your beliefs, but due to your whining arrogance that you deserve shielding from criticism. Get over yourself. And stop believing in fairy tales, you'll be better off.

  • @fretbuzz59 STFU, you dumb ass bigot, your the reason penguins are dying in antarctica, and why kids are commiting suicide, he could be 10 for all you know and your introducing him to the real world, I think you should get over yourself and stop spreading the truth about life. (for all you retards out there, i'm on fretbuzz's side)

  • Hamburger Tree ftw

  • this is all taken out of context, idiot.

  • @massmayhem12

    So... context makes it better?

  • @Phage0070 what??? uh no, taking things out of context fucks everything up, just like this video. jesus isnt a zombie, infact recently a woman had woke up in a morgue covered in embalming fluid cause she had died two days earlier, she ended up suing the morgue. we dont eat jesuses flesh and blood, its blessed food that is his "body" and blessed water that is his "blood" atheists like to just open the bible and read a sentence and say oh look what i found! they dont bother to fully read it.

  • @massmayhem12

Yah, he's a zombie he rised from the fucking dead. At least my belief isn't molesting little boys or advocating genocide.

  • @wowpapa the little boy shit is catholocism and so is the genocide. jesus wasnt a zombie you idiot that shit can happen today, you ever heard of anyone waking up in a morgue? look it up it has happened countless times, its the same damn thing as jesus "coming back to life" cause these people were presumed dead and they woke up in the morgue before their autopsy. this fact makes it completely plausible that a man named jesus had died and woken again, because it happens still till this day.

  • @wowpapa this is also cataplexy, some are aware of what is going on and can hear things around them but they cannot respond in anyway, and cannot move anything. others are out cold in a deep sleep. cataplexy is where your vitals are reduced to almost nothing, but you are still alive but at this point your vitals are almost impossible to be found so you are pronounced dead, but they come back up and you wake up. look it up.

  • @massmayhem12

“[This] is all taken out of context, idiot.”

That is irrelevant, if the context doesn’t render any of the statements in this video factually inaccurate (bearing in mind that you don’t know the definition I was using).

    “[Jesus isn’t] a zombie.”

The definition of a zombie I was using is a living thing that has come back to life. So yes; by definition, Jesus was a zombie.

  • “[We don’t] eat [Jesus’] flesh and blood, its blessed food that is his ‘body’ and blessed water that is his ‘blood’.”

This video explicitly stated that the consumption was symbolic (and even if it didn’t, it would still be referring to the common scriptural interpretation of transubstantiation). Once again, the video was spot on.

  • @SecularAstronomer

No Jesus isn't a Zombie... and you are a worthless bigot...

  • @dex1391

    “No Jesus isn't a Zombie...”

I just said that the definition I was using of zombie means that a resurrected being is classified as a zombie... So unless you are claiming that Jesus was not said in the Bible to have resurrected, you are wrong.

“[And] you are a worthless bigot...”

I expect nothing less than such slander from an anonymous internet bully.

  • @SecularAstronomer

LOL internet bully? Really... You're the one on here attacking Christians but I'm a bully?

    Let me ask you something...

If I said... "your mother is a whore"

and I found an incredibly ignorant way to back that statement...

    Would you be offended?

If you answer yes... perhaps you may not want to use that extremely offensive term....

  • @dex1391

    “LOL internet bully? Really...”

I never addressed you, yet you came to my channel and began slandering me and my character... you bet you are.

  • @SecularAstronomer

Actually you did address me... You are the bigoted bully.

  • “You're the one on here attacking Christians but I'm a bully?”

Attacking Christians? You’re not fooling anyone with that line. I posted a video expressing my incredulity of the ideology of Christianity on my own channel. I didn’t force it on anyone; nor did it even address an actual human or group of humans—only an ideology. I neither attacked nor addressed anyone.

  • @SecularAstronomer

Yes you are attacking Christians... You posted a bigoted video... No different than the KKK posting a racist video.

  • “Let me ask you something... If I said... "your mother is a whore" and I found an incredibly ignorant way to back that statement... Would you be offended? If you answer yes... perhaps you may not want to use that extremely offensive term....”

Nice red haring. I never made a claim in this video about the character of any human that wasn’t a rephrasing of actual Christian theology. This is about your baseless and slanderous claim of bigotry—not propensity to offend. Don't back peddle, now.

  • @SecularAstronomer

Actually it's a fact... You are a bigot... Nothing more nothing less...

You made an offensive and bigoted claim about a beloved religious figure.

You are a bigot... end of story.

  • “But then again... We did have very racist drawings of blacks in the U.S. at one time as well.”

Right; of blacks. You know... a group of people. This video addressed the ideology of Christianity—not Christians. Please actually think.

“You're just the next incarnation of bigotry. Feel proud...?”

No, I’m not proud to be repeatedly slandered by someone with a chip on their shoulder. I feel disappointed, more than anything.

  • @SecularAstronomer you make me laugh, there have actually been people that wake up in morgues before they were opened, are they zombies? no its a medical condition. and if you read the bible(you obviously havent) you would know that jesus wasnt actually talking about the flesh on his body or blood in his body, it was spiritual meaning food gives you life in which it does. the video isnt spot on, the video is dead wrong. taking out of context means reading without thought of the actual meaning.

  • @massmayhem12

“You make me laugh, there have actually been people that wake up in morgues before they were opened, are they zombies? [No,] its a medical condition.”

It depends on the case. If they were misdiagnosed as dead due to a medical condition which caused symptoms that mimicked death, then no. If they actually died, and came back then they obviously fit the definition of zombie that I just told you I was using.

  • “[And] if you read the bible(you obviously [haven’t]) you would know that [Jesus wasn’t] actually talking about the flesh on his body or blood in his body, it was spiritual meaning food gives you life in which it does. the video isnt spot on, the video is dead wrong. taking out of context means reading without thought of the actual meaning.”

...right; that’s what I just said. Are you not reading what I say?

  • But thank you for affirming the accuracy of both my previous statement and my video by restating what they both stated about bread and wine in the Biblical narrative.

  • @SecularAstronomer and taking out of context is what you have done, i know cause i used to be atheist and did the same thing till i sat down and forced myself to read the bible just to be entertained and then i finally understood what it says. the bible is based off account just so you know. dont try to argue cause ive heard every comeback because ive used every comeback when i was atheist, it wont work and you are wrong just like i was. but dont bitch because i never meantioned existence of god

  • @massmayhem12

“[And] taking out of context is what you have done...”

I just tacitly acknowledged that fact... But the explicit and implicit meaning of terms can be, and often is, the same. Again, please actually read what I said:

That is irrelevant, if the context doesn’t render any of the statements in this video factually inaccurate (bearing in mind that you don’t know the definition I was using).

  • “[I] know [because I] used to be atheist and did the same thing till [I] sat down and forced myself to read the bible just to be entertained and then [I] finally understood what it says. [The] bible is based off account just so you know. [Don’t] try to argue cause [I’ve] heard every comeback because [I’ve] used every comeback [When I] was atheist, it wont work and you are wrong just like [I] was.”

I have no problem with you exercising your right to believe whatever you wish.

  • “[But don’t] bitch because [I] never [mentioned] existence of god.”

Don’t worry; I never intended to do so.

  • @SecularAstronomer so dont tell me im shoving it on you cause im not. just remember i used to be atheist. how do you suppose atheists convert? hmm? answer me that! they dont believe god exists then all of a sudden they are worshiping jesus and god, explain it. sure you are gonna say theyre mental or some shit. theyre not mental, they just opened their eyes.

  • @massmayhem12

“[So don’t] tell me [I’m] shoving it on you cause [I’m] not.”

I know you’re not; you’re simply sharing your ideas in a public forum.

  • “[Just] remember [I] used to be atheist. [How] do you suppose atheists convert? hmm? [Answer] me that! [They don’t] believe god exists then all of a sudden they are worshiping [Jesus] and [God;] explain it.”

The changing of one’s worldview (like when I went from Christian to atheist) is often complex and can be initiated and facilitated by many factors. But one of the main mechanisms is shifts in attribution of certain experiences to given causes.

  • “[Sure] you are [going to] say [they’re] mental or some shit. [They’re] not mental, they just opened their eyes.”

No, Christians are not mentally ill; they just hold to different models and interpret their experiences differently than I do.

  • This is one of my fav videos about Christianity! LOL! Glad ran across it again.

  • take THAT Christianity!

  • LMAO I can't stop laughing @ the zombie jesus @ the begining lmao.

  • ROTFL That is so funny!!!!! Oh my god that is good shit. I gave 5 stars!

  • (lol), so funny, and really good too.

  • haha brilliant =D

  • LMFAO

  • I find it odd that fundies view every other religion on the planet as rediculous as this, then act all surprised when other people see how retarded it is.

  • I've always felt that, because of Genesis (no, not the band!) snakes got a bad rap. So now, people all over the world have this idiotic, ignorant idea that 'the only good snake is a dead snake'. Thus, many species of snakes are endangered. Even non-venomous ones. Jesus-tap-dancing Christ I hate all this ignorance and bullshit!!!

  • Wow thanks . . . I already converted but you little video explanation of how it all worked sure saved me a lot of reading.

Ain't God great - yeppers, He sure is! (really)

  • Prove it with religion. Oh wait..

  • Hi Jon lol. As a christian questioning his faith I can appreciate this. Many christians are so thin skinned about criticism. I've been studying atheism & deconversion from christianity for several months. I've learned that atheists are a very misunderstood demographic. I'm not sure but I think my mental illness makes me hopelessly theistic. lol Be well. Tom

  • you are in chapel perilous

    good luck in your journey

  • douche bag

  • ah so true, its wasted though, most brainwashed morons will put up a wall of defense and not even break this down and realize each ssegment has some truth.

  • ThetanM- interestingly, the Bible itself says that the gospel is foolish.

1Corinthians 1:18-. "For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness, but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God"

  • @thetanmonger

Which part...? The zombie who is his own father, or the snake with legs?

  • Like... win?

  • Um... sounds reasonable..

  • love it haha but dude the bible doesnt say the snake had legs haha

  • Evil Inside...lol

  • "Hey we are the KKK. Our religion is the most tolerant of people unless of course you dont belive what we believe, in wich case you'll spend an eternity in hell :D"

  • that religion also creates extremist like the kkk for example who follow the teachings of christ such as love thy neighbour and only apply that to a specific ethnic group wich again contradicts the teaching in the first place. Anyone with me on this one ???

  • apparently is sacred because the son of god died for all our sins there wich to me seems to contradict the reason for waging war over this land in the first place ( again if none of this makes sense i apologize ive been awake for 27 hours at this point) also refering back to the general structre of most religions ive noticed

  • personally i think religion condradicts itself pretty badly seeing as though the general outline for most religions is about being nice and friendly and not starting wars and the like but more wars are fought in the name of religion than any other cause for war i know of ( that probably doesnt make sense it didnt to me but i couldnt find the right words to put it in) take the crusades for example people were fighting bloody battles and waging war on one another to take a piece of land that

  • I'm a Catholic and I found this amusing. Ha ha.

  • um no

  • You still have to face God on judgement day and you alone will stand before him and have to give account for your transgressing HIS moral law without the Savior u reject

  • You know, jesusway2heaven, we wouldn't need videos like this in the first place if arrogant, self-important christian fanatics like yourself weren't constantly pointing fingers at everybody....

  • Actually..I think Atheists have a better chance at some sort of "heaven" than Christians. There are thousands of Gods and many religions. You decided to choose one specific God and religion. I plan to live a good life, give to others, but don't follow any religion or god. If one of the other many Gods was in heaven, i am pretty sure he would let the atheist slide if he lived a wholesome life, but surely wouldn't let you in since you chose the wrong God. So watch out for judgment day Christian!

  • lol the bible says.

  • Really? No other religion offers salvation? Have you never heard of Nirvana? Moksha? Have you ever even bothered to look into any of the religions of which you speak?

Karma is not about good works to appease wrong doing. It is the concept that you collect Karma for wrong doings. Doing the right thing does not rid you of Karma, it simply does not cause you to collect more. Next time, do a little research on the topic you rant about so that you don't make yourself look like a moron.

  • @swillis3000 on the buddist thing, Any kind of intentional action whether mental, verbal, or physical, is regarded as Karma so there is good and bad karma in a so maybe you should do some basic research on it

  • All other are okay? Jeeze, man, come on! You try watching an atheist or Buddhist or something walk down the streets of Pakistan, see how long they last.

And watch a Muslim or a Pagan (or an Atheist) walk down the streets of backwoods Georgia, and see how nice people are.

  • @chrisinsocalif atheists are let in to heaven at judgement day according to what kind of person they were in their life, if they were a bad person their whole life they will fall to hell and if they were a good person they will go to heaven, and do you realize that all the other "gods" are in the bible but clearly arent gods? this is only my religion i dont expect you to believe and i dont expect a reply.

  • @massmayhem There are thousands of gods and they are not mentioned in the bible. They range from times in history to regions of the world. All which lack any true evidence of existence. People follow religion because it gives them a meaning and purpose, plus its comforting for people to think there is hope of an afterlife. I can't seem to blind myself to reason since faith is based on belief only. It's okay for people feel better with religion, I just wish people could keep it to themselves.

  • @massmayhem12 You have not read your bible very well at all if you think that god will let ANYONE who has not accepted Jesus into their heart into heaven.

That's one thing the bible is very very clear on and some of us choose to reject the notion that it was ever ok to kill someone else for what one being considers sin. God couldn't even forgive man without having to kill his own son over the matter.

Some of us won't let others die for our actions and we will not follow a murderer.

  • @Jesusway2heaven

You will stand on the shores of the river Styx and find you are without toll for Charon. You will live for eternity in the land between worlds.

  • @coreygames And it;ll have no god.

  • Favorited. Five stars.

  • right

  • dude that was short but sweet, nice one.

  • we also have science, philosophy...oh...and reality.

  • If it's all allegory then why do people take all of those fake events so seriously?

If some of it isn't allegory (AKA not all fake), how do you know what's real in that book and what's not?

  • Too bad that your hasty antagonism has blinded you that you did not even notice the phrase "literalist christianity" in the title, which is well alive within the christendom such evangelicanism.

  • if your username is named after the polititian Mitt Romney, and his Mormon beliefs, where do I even start with the hypocracy in your comment. And if Romney is just your own name, I now know that somewhere out there, there is an individual called Romney who is as thick as shit.

  • well you know what they say when you "assume", something about being an ass...

Thick? science calls it the "singularity", the moment right when the universe was all together and was created from nothing. The world might not have been created in a day, but the universe just took seconds to create. I don't think it was by a old man in a rode, but what ever the case, I call it god, fact.

  • And you are a moron, fact.

  • appeal to authority, got me there.... dork

  • Sounds like a solid belief. I can understand why so many people fanatically follow it.

    ...Lawl.

  • atheism uses the same alphabetical code as asexual, meaning no sex.

  • whats your point?

  • racist

  • What the fuck...? Are you trheatening??? ^.^

You 23 year old non-educated dipshit, get your fuckin' religion head out of your ass and face the reality!!!

  • Yes, WherewastThouMan; God forbid I dare commit the heinous transgression of speaking my mind. Better to refrain from ever asking questions outside of a very small range.

  • @WherewastThouMan Hes a pyro, he can play with it as much as he likes.

  • *braino*

  • I hate it when people call me atheist. I'm agnostic :).

  • baino, everyone is an agnostic. Agnostic means you don't know (nobody knows). Now do you believe that there is a god(theist), or do you believe that there is not a god(atheist)

  • I believe God is very plausible :) just not the kind of
