but finishing with the best record doesnt guarantee the number 1 pick. in fact, i think only like 3 times has a team who finished with the worst record, actually won the lottery to get the no. pick. even if u do finish worst, u still only have a 25 % chance of getting the no. 1 pick. so theres really no reason to lose the rest of the games on purpose. u have to hope u get lucky in the lottery no matter what. theres even an .5 % chance they could get the 14th pick if they finished last
They should just forfeit the rest of the games on the schedule. Hope and pray to win the NBA Draft Lottery and get that beast Blake Griffin.
