  • Will 9v work as well or do you need 18v ?

  • Haha TonyBlairsaWanker say he's a "qualfied electronics engineer", but he doesn't even know this simple circuit will not work as car ignition and is actually a simple detonator.

  • Can't we all just get along?

  • ITT: Troll thread, and troll is winning.

  • so is the Schematic right now?

  • @TonyBlairsaWanker HAHA you're a fucking idiot. This schematic is for building a detonator for rockets and bombs, not for fucking cars you retard. Check my other videos.

  • @TonyBlairsaWanker you are ABSOLUTELY hilarious dude thank you you've made my day. Watch this video and maybe you'll understand /watch?v=uN7BS9ZvNa0

  • @ChuKoNu1 First, my sincere apologies to ChuKoNu1. My posts were merely intended as humour; I don't own a Subaru, and my name isn't Raj. I was indeed an electronics engineer, at the (British) General Electric Company.

ChuKoNut1's circuit is perfectly good, of course. Patently it is not intended for motor car use. I made my posts outrageous enough that no one should have considered them as anything but humour. Again, ChuKoNut1, forgive me, please. I hope I raised a few laughs if nothing else.

  • @ChuKoNu1 You are a complete legend !

  • @TonyBlairsaWanker dude WHAT THE FUCK THIS IS NOT FOR CARS THIS IS FOR EXPLOSIVES AND SHIT

  • @doug1345 mincing puff

  • @TonyBlairsaWanker is that what u blow or is it just ur mom

  • @doug1345 Ha ha lol! another arseole who just had to pile in ... I love it when twates like you just cant help but put some stupid comments in like you did. And to take the piss out of somebodies Mum .... great stuff! You the CUNT now, Doug ... keep it coming! What you said doesnt even make any sense, except probably to cunts like you. It's what makes youtube great. It's good to see you as a member of the CUNT CLUB. Just take the piss out of peoples mums! Inteligent or what?

  • @BurbageLovesKiev ur a retard

  • @doug1345 Mebbe I'm not the world's brightest, but at least I know that 'doug1345' means 'extreemly unpleasant cunt'. anybody who takes the piss out of peoples mothers is a really nasty peice of shit, and, man, are you it.

  • @BurbageLovesKiev i never said i did that and whats kiev then ur boyfreind

  • @TonyBlairsaWanker If you're a "qualified electronics engineer" why were you stupid enough to use a fireworks ignitor on a car? lmao. A "qualified electronics engineer" should know the difference.

  • @Moundskillz I think I already explained this earlier, dumbo; ... my posts were intended as a joke, and were quite obviously just that to anyone with a brain. I accepted earlier that my joke was misplaced, and apologised for that. Quite evidently, then, I didn't use the circuit on a car; it couldn't be used as an ignition circuit on a car; and whilst I sincerely hope that this explanation makes sense, I suspect you will continue you predilection to "laugh my ass of".'

  • @TonyBlairsaWanker A joke? lol. You have one dry sense of humor dude.. Just for future reference, sarcasm doesn't work through the internet dude...

  • @Moundskillz What! Your reply here, and previously, was not pure sarcasm?! I suspect that all sorts of humour work through the internet and elsewhere. See ChuKoNu 1's post, which was; "you are ABSOLUTELY hilarious dude thank you you've made my day." My sin was in my original entries, and was indubitably unfair to ChuKoNu 1. I therefore apologised to him. As for a dry sense of humour ... well, my original posts were intended to make people roll around on the floor ... etc. Glad to oblige!

  • @TonyBlairsaWanker Ya sarcasm works when you make it clear what you're trying to say. Had you SAID your original post i'm sure it would have been funnier cause you would have been able to tell you were being sarcastic, but since you didn't make it clear people were laughing AT you not with you. But if you're okay with that... lol. Btw you clearly don't understand sarcasm.

  • @Moundskillz If anything, you are more dense than your mate Roland0314. My original post was certainly not in any way sarcastic. It was certainly facetious ... maybe that is what you meant. Who knows? Not you, tht's for sure. As for people laughing AT me; I like nothing better. Now; I am sure that you would like the last word here. I am becoming pretty bored with having to reply to you and Roland Rat; so I am out of here. Go on! Let fly! Amuse the troops! Ave et Vale ....

  • @TonyBlairsaWanker Whatever, either way YOUR joke failed. Stop trying to act smart when your dumbass is the one that fucked up.

  • @Moundskillz TonyBlairsaWanker was wrong to put all that guff about subarus here, but at least he said sorry to Chukonu didnt he and he has made you look a rite CUNT with you going on and on about it. Me and my mates thought his first posts were funny because they were so stupid, and we new they was jokes, but YOU didn't so it is useles saying that his joke didnt work because chukonu himself said it had made his day, so YOU are the stupid cunt and you have proved it. At least he maid us laugh.

  • @BurbageLovesKiev As far as the apologizing, I have better thing to do than read through every comment on the vid.The ones where he apologized weren't with the uploader comments and he started off by putting Raj at the end of everything so its not like they looked like they were from the same person. I was done with the conversation, YOU are the cunt that kept it going now. Btw how bout learning english before you reply back.

  • @Moundskillz "Better things to do" .. what, comic books? ... so you are the stupid cunt here who thinks he nows English and doesnt. I dont pretend to, but then again I dont pretend not to read all the coments do I, but you obviously do. Your the sort of wanker who voted Labour at the last election. And it was YOU who kept it going with your last coment, you thick twat. You might have skillz with Mounds but you haven't got any in English, have you. I bet youll keep it going this time, lol.

  • @BurbageLovesKiev 1. comic books are for fags with no life. 2. HAHA, voting is a waste of time. 3. Have you read your own comment? And I'M the one who's horrible at english? lol. 4. You're still the one keeping it going, had you not commented the conversation would have been done...

  • @TonyBlairsaWanker I hope you realize you misused "predilection", dont try to act smart when you clearly aren't.

  • @Roland0314 All here would be tremedously obliged were you to furnish what you believe to be a correct definition of " predilection ". Fearing I had suffered a " Senior Moment ", I consulted my OED, albeit, and regrettably, not the full, multi-volume edition, but still quite adequate. I find that my usage of the word was perfectly correct as used in the post that you take issue with. Maybe you are not very bright yourself! Please tell us what YOU think the word means. The World Awaits!

  • @TonyBlairsaWanker 1. Go do something more productive with your time, rather than sit here and troll. 2. "A preference or special liking for something; a bias in favor of something."

  • @Roland0314 Insofar as your point #1. is concerned, I wasn't aware that I had been the initiator of the troll. I had my fun, albeit misplaced, much earlier. Insofar as your definition of " predilection " is concerned, ( and the definition is correct ), then this merely shows that my suggestion that another person here had a predilection to "laughing my ass off " was correct. So what, pray, was the thrust of your argument? I suspect the world doesn't await, but still, do tell .....

  • @TonyBlairsaWanker So there is no such thing as an AC battery, if you managed to find a device that acted like an AC battery it would not be compatible with your electrical system since it is designed for DC. Second I think you mean zener diode, not zenner triode. While this guy may have gotten the schematic wrong you might want to do some research instead of taking advice from your so called mechanic. By the way if you had to go to your mechanic maybe you shouldn't be making these kind of mods.

  • @TonyBlairsaWanker WTF alternate current batteries dont even exist man youre fucking crazy and this zenner triode you talk about what the fuck is that ahahahah hilarious

  • UH_OH .... the garage mechanic says that I have bollixed my ECU, which stands for Electrical Connection Unit ... he's taken the new Ignition Unit off, and got the car running again, said I shouldn't put it on again. Maybe he isn't very good with car electrics, because he says my battery puts out DC amps, not AC. But it says AC on the battery, and In think thre Subaru needs an AC battery because the car has very high acceleration, so maybe he is a nob with electrics.

    Raj

  • UPDATE; installed circuit in my Subaru, but don'r work yet. But if I work both switches, I can get some lights on dash to come on,. so something is working. If anyone else has used this circuit on their Subaru, plese tell me.

I still didn't manage to get a 500 watt battery for the car. There's plenty of DC batteries, but they are just 12 volts. I need 500 watt AC battery, but Halfords say they can't help. Thanks for any help,

    Raj

  • Sorry, Guys ... another question ... I have learnt a lot about electrics from this video and comments, but I am just trying to see what are the right volts and amps here.

Should it use high volts to get a proper spark, or should I be going for watts? A friend says that I can replace the 12 volts AC battery on my Subaru for a better battery that uses watts instead of volts and amps. Can you guys tell me where to get a 500 watt battery for car use? Thanks,

    Raj

    Raj

  • What amperage is the resistor with these volts? I want to fit this ignition on my Subaru, but which wire goes to the coil?

Is those batteries AC or DC batteries, because my Subaru can only use AC twelve volts battery because of extreme performance.

Brilliant video, but should have list of cars it will fit.

    Thanks,

    Raj

  • one question because i am usually brain dead when we start talking about electricity but, i am trying to replicate your schematics but, i just realized i need to shoot 3 things at the same time. i have no idea on how to go about this or even search it up on the internet since a bunch of babies think we are going to make bombs out of this. :/ anyway... any help would be helpful. thanks

  • wheres the video lol

  • So say you're using this circuit as with a red LED

    Resistance = (Supply - Load)/Current

Since were using an 18v supply (Two 9v batteries in a daisy chained current coupled fashion) and a red LED which is generally 2v at 20mA, the resistance we need is (18v - 2v)/.02A = 800Ω

  • Why are you using only two batteries in your other video, while the schematic is showing four? 9x 4= 36v

Also use a resistor for your lamp. you said it was a 12volt, not a 18v or 36v as your schematic is showing.

Btw, your batteries are in series... Not parallel.

  • @Plane4D The schematic clearly only shows 2 batteries, you might want to brush up on your electronic schematic reading skills. Secondly, the lamp's minimum voltage required for operation is 12v. It can tolerate a much higher voltage. Thirdly, I stated in my other videos that the batteries were in series.

  • @ChuKoNu1 The schematic clearly only shows 4 batteries, two close connected with a wire connecting them (all in series). Secondly, if the minimum voltage is 12v, I recommend using a resistor to get the voltage to about 12.5v to 13v for a longer lasting lamp. Thirdly, you stated in your other videos that all your components was connected in parallel.

  • @Plane4D A single battery has two poles, Positve (+) and Negative (-). In my schematic, I have a pair of Positive (+) and a pair of Negative (-). Since a single battery has both a positive and a negative, that means that there are two batteries.

  • @ChuKoNu1 Only the first sentance in that statement was right. You have two pairs of batteries, a pair is equal to 2. 2+ 2= 4. You have only marked two of the them with (+) and the other two with (-), you can't just make your own rules as you draw. If you want something done, do it right...

  • @Plane4D Jesus christ you're ignorant. How about you go onto google, search "Circuit Schematic Symbols" , click the first link, find the symbol for battery, and then come back.

  • @ChuKoNu1 How about not only using one scource? w w w (dot) kpsec (dot) freeuk (dot) com (/) symbol (dot) htm

There is even an "Function of Component" you can read. After all, Im an electrician.

  • @Plane4D This is the last time I will explain, because arguing on the internet is retarded. Look under the power supplies section of the site you sent me. See how there are two components - a cell, and a battery. A cell is a singular source of power. A battery comprises of multiple cells. My schematic calls for 2 9 volt batteries- that means that there are two packs of cells. It says that on the site you sent. If you are an electrician, you should know the difference between a cell and a battery

  • you dont actually need resistors, since you're operating at such low voltage for one, two the components dont allow any contact to the user and three its an ignition system i want something to go boom

  • whats a resistor??and where will i put it????this is really a good video..i hope sumone will reply..

  • @bleedingsoulful you can get a 12 volt battery holder (uses 8 "AA" batteries) at your local Radio Shack -- that will make this much easier -- no need for resistors. You can also get an indicator lamp there also.

  • No Resistor = BOOM

  • thats dude .... love ur igniter.

  • i know this is a stupid question but whats the lil squiggly line for the light means is that a wire going from on end to the other

  • what the fuck

  • where can i get a hobby box?

  • hey i was wondering where can i buy an indicator lamp

  • easy peasy, thanks a bunch!

  • what resistor will i need if i am using a 12v LED

  • @1eyedude10 u will use a 795 ohm resistor or get a little circut board and put a couple of them in it

  • thanks this is a real help 5 stars

  • perfect helps me thank ya

  • does this work with a 4.5 volt batterie??

and is this a normal pushbuttonswitch?

  • @MasterOfB00m yes but you need 4 of them

  • yes it is a normal push button switch, but if your like me and cant afford switches, make you own ;P not gonna say how, its sorta dangerous

  • Awesome!

  • if anyone knows, i plan to use nicrome wire at end. what guage is needed for the amount of power supplied at end of alligator clips? ChuKoNu1 u know?

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry, I didn't copy your schematic.

  • thanks so much man!

  • Right :)

  • nice
