Do you actually do ballet???? Cause it looks like you don't!!!!! And its even worse your advising people to do pointe without a tachers permission. are you retarded??? you will end up being responsible when all thses girls break their ankles!!
look you´re not ready for points yet. mybe you´re ready but don´t do it by your self. you can win sereas foot damage doing it. I´m beguinig to do points and i can tell you your feet aren´t correct. look i´m 13 too and i now is hard but wait a litle bit more, until your teacher have time to teache you well. good lck and sorry by the inglish i´m portuguese, stell learning.
these shoes do not seem to fit you properly. they haven't been tied properly either. It is vital to be properly fitted after all, what you are doing is not natural for our feet. Do lots of strengthening exercises on demi pointe and with a pilates band. Be careful as damaging a still growing body can have horrible repercussions later on. I am in my 40's and a ballet teacher and would also reccomend a professional teacher as you do not want chronic injuries from dancing incorrectly.
I just got my first pointe shoes and I was wondering, and I don't mean to offend you in any way, did you go to a shop to have them fit you or did you order off line? Also, what shoes do you have? I have Bloch suprimas! :D
I've been dancing for 11 years and i'm 13.I dance modern ballet (ballet jazz). No one can really teach me the pointe. Well she can but she doesn't have the time. Do you think I should start on my own?
@Joojo151 If you think your feet are ready and you've done enough exercises to strengthen them then I think go for it! No point waiting when you've got it all right there :) Just start off really slow and do short exercises every day then you can grow until you have someone to teach you the harder exercises x
@Izziiee121 i had the strength to do pointe (my teacher said) but i was asked to wait till ballet class resumed after the summer hols. and then i wuz so excited that i secretly bought myself a pair of pointe shoes and sprained my ankle rolling up. when my teacher taught me to roll up, she aligned me properly
@Joojo151 dont ever teach yourself even if you have been doing ballet and your strong enough fo pointe you could ruin your feet or even blow out ur ankles or knees..dont do pointe without lessons!!
ive only been doing ballet for like two years, and then i stopped but i want to start it again. ive been practising with regular ballet slippers for like two weeks, but now i want to start pointe. ive never done pointe before, so any tips of the trade to help me get started? such as basics, need to knows and how not to hurt myself :) it would be greatly appreciated
@delenalovergirl You should do some thigh strengthening, a good way to do that is to lie on your side and lift both legs together. You should also do some stomach strengthening, to do that lie face up with your knees bent and lift your body up, hold it half way, you should be able to feel it, and if you are trying you should be trembling..... Any other things you want to know about pre-pointe, ask me! Hope this helped
@balletgyrl2404 Hey, I started pointe by myself and a lot of annoying girls on here will say that you have to have a teacher otherwise you could hurt yourself blah blah blah, but if you know the basics then you can do it by yourself! Watch some videos on youtube of people doing pointe and learn from them! If you need any help when you start send me an inbox :)

although i haven't started pointe yet, and i think this video is really good, i think you should dtill wait. It's up to you of course but i think it would be better. The truth is you can hurt yourself. You could break your toes/foot and that is not something you want! This is a very good video though and i agree that you should look at some more videos on youtube! good luck when you start! :D
Thank you, I have a lead roll to do in the nutcracker but I have to get good at pointe, this helps a lot, you are really good, your feet look beautiful :D
@JillAndMattForever58 Wow, good luck! Hope it goes well, big role to take! I'm not that good, just a beginner doing a few classes every so often :) thankyou very much!
@AylinArainai2011 my teacher just gave me feet exercises to do every day for about 6 months until my feet were strong enough to go on pointe, if you cant find any exercises to do just send me a message and i'll be happy to help :)
@primaballerina1111 hiya i watched your video, you could be really good! when you go up on pointe you should work through your feet more like in stages, onto the ball of your foot then onto pointe instead of going straight up! And when you were stretching try not to go over on your box because it could be bad for your ankles :) but keep going! don't give up, you're doing really well!
I got my pointe shoes three days ago. I have my first class in a few days (winter break) and I've been working a bit and for your second class, your bouree is in possession of my envy.

Makers of Pointe Shoes: Talented craftsmen.
Rule of Thumb: Never go en pointe without a qualified instructor's supervision at all times.
Golden Secret: Be patient and work hard.
Problem with this girl: Could use more turnout and you're slightly off your box.

@lmartucci95 hm, erm yeah I don't recall ever denying holding onto anything, kinda replaces a barre. It's OBVIOUS that I am. Points for observation.
