People only needed to give a name to what's normal for mature adults in my opinion. The western world is obsessed with teen behaviour as if it's normal for adults to be still pumped full of hormones. Since when is it demi-asexual to not want to get a random lay? If that's the case, then most of the world is demi-asexual, or else people wouldn't get married.

That was great. I feel like sitting down with Dr Cindy Pan (who is normally wonderful) and saying yes, people are free to and can change their sexual identity, but that goes equally for heterosexuality and homosexuality, so how about you rethink your comment re classifying people as asexual. Also, I guess it could be meant negatively by some people, but I'd also like to tell her that it's definitely not a negative or disparaging term for those of us who identify as asexual, so she should.

This was a good video. I can relate with the guy about being able to feel sexual attraction, but only with people I'm romantically close to. I was kind of surprised how well that described how it is with my asexuality. I have no interest in people, but I can develop one if I get to know them, we get compatible, and good feelings are shared both ways.
